Pokémon pride in Super Smash Bros. Melee?

So I got SSBM a few days ago (yeah I'm two years behind the craze X_x'), and I played it like crazy and unlocked all the hidden characters within 4 days. I've played the game a little bit before hand with other people and I notice they generally play as the same character which is either: Link, Roy, Marth, Zelda, or Kirby.

Out of curiosity I wanted to see how many people here actually play as the Pokémon characters.

In the N64 version I loved using Pikachu and Jigglypuff. Game Cube wise I generally like using Mewtwo. Jigglypuff is a bit more difficult to control in this game. (when I first unlocked Jigglypuff and played adventure mode on normal difficulty I had to continue XX times.)

I like Pikachu in the pimp hat, Pichu with goggles and scarf, and Jigglypuff with the Hawiian flower.

Too bad Mewtwo didn't get cool alternate costumes.

I usually don't play as the Pokemon characters, but when I do it's as Pikachu. I prefer Mario and Yoshi. blaugh

I am the master with Pikachu,i beat the crap out of my friends who are always Roy and Marth.

I like all of them but I play with Link and Young Link most of the time.

I prefer playing as Mime Kirby (White with black lips) and/or White/Black Zelda/Sheek...But when I use a Pokémon, it's Amelia Erhart Pichu (Pilot goggles). I mainly use the Skull Bash with Pichu. 3nodding

No. I need the Pikman one, the Giga Bowser one, and I think that's all unless there are some that I don't know about. I have all the ones from the lottery and events except for that Giga Bowser one...I don't know how to face him!

Ooh, I remember Pikmin. That is the most un-fun game ever. I regret ever buying it.

Giga Bowser... I'm pretty sure you need to beat Adventure in Normal in under 15 minutes, and then beat Bowser. After that, you'll think it's over... but all of a freaking sudden, Giga Bowser will come shooting out of the black depths of the bottom of the stage and jump back on, where he'll either kick your a** or get his kicked...
