It is already being serialized in Viz's Shoujo Beat magazine.
There have been at least two chapters released, but I havent been keeping track.
(::checks Viz's website:: WTF..."Manga from the heart"? What the hell kind of slogan is that?)
Viz's site doesnt have any official release date on the tankoubon, you can try checking amazon if they have one out, but if they do its liable to change without notice.

I like that they licensed it but why in a magazine??? It will take forever for a volume to come out!!! I can't stand waiting a month for a chapter...

Is Shoujo Beat monthly? I can''t remember...

Well, almost all manga begins as a magazine serialization in Japan, though God Child was originally a weekly serial...mrr...

So, then....They're not going to just let it have its own book-copy? sad

They will eventually. I dont think the fans would allow it if they didn't, but I think they're really trying to push magazine sales and are like "God Child only avaiable in Shoujo Beat!!"
Sooner or later it'll get some tankoubon of its own :3

If you can read French, they're already on the 3rd God Child book. It's from the French publishing company called Tonkam...but it might be expensive since it's coming from France unless you can find it at a French bookstore or something.

And if you can read German(yes, I know, not very likely...), God Child 6 will be published next month here in Germany.

But I think in the USA there will be a tankoubon sooner or later^^

I believe it is coming out soon, like by next year or so... You should check at an anime store or at a bookstore that carries manga.

::nods:: I dont know about mainstream bookstores, but a store t hat carries comics and graphic novels and manga might have release lists that tell the slated date for tankoubon releases.
If you have a comic book store near you, that might be your best bet for pinpointing a date as VIZ's site is an impossibility to find an exact date for anything.

Would God Child even really be considered manga from the heart? It's dark and there's blood... XD
