So, Gaia has chosen two front pages, the little cute doodle, and the mermaid.
I kind of like the mermaid front page, but at the same time I am wondering when the GGN and other parts of Gaia will get their "face lift" and when will they stop tinkering with the dang front page?!
What are your opinions about the front page, and other parts of Gaia.
Who knows?
We could even make a petition, I mean why not?
We're already gonna make a super-awesome event thread!
Who is there to stop us with a petition?!

I like the new front pages, but they've been changing Gaia around a lot too.
I think TGT [The Gaia Team] has a bit of a image issue.
True, the front page is what members-to-be are attracted by, but what about when they do sign up, and see everything else is kinda old?
It's like seeing a shiny new paint job on a car, and then seeing the inside is all crappy, right after buying it!

The GGN page does need work. It's been the same for as long as I remember.
And the new Friends page is definitely something different, and I was disappointed before they put the little glowing/sleeping smiley faces back in.
I mean, how else can I see if my friends are on, without actually having to read?

I agree with you.
I like what they are doing with Gaia.
Sure there are some hiccups, but they have worked with their users to really get us stoked about this site.
They've done a lot of good, and I like to see that they are go getters.
That's why once I get my AAS from college I plan on submitting an internship with Gaia Online to become apart of their team. ^_^
Still, they do neglect certain parts of Gaia, such as the GGN it hasn't been worked on for a little over 2 years, and in that time they've changed the front page quite a bit.

Gah, I feel like I am getting bombarded with PM scams.
This one guy has sent me 4 scams in total of the same scam in today alone.
So I private messaged a site moderator and see if they'll help me. gonk
I think I'll have to turn my private messages on to "friends only" if this keeps up, or block him - either or.

I used the "report PM" button once even though he Pmed me three flippin' times!
Then when he sent the same Pm the fourth time I talked to a mod, she told me to add him to block, but I lost his user name and couldn't, but he just couldn't help himself and Pmed me again, where I then blocked his sorry butt!

With a gaia mod application or something, that re-directs somewhere, I don't know where, I didn't click it, but I reported him too.

I guess I'm just not important enough to receive spam attacks...except for creepy fake Admin notices in Jigsaw. Hard to believe the admin would want us to have 100 000+ gold in minutes (!). Inflation, and all.
That said, I don't like the new mermaid front page all that much...I forget which one I voted for, actually. I liked the punk girl one fine. >_>.

I agree with Cross, though I do like the mermaid page a little bit I fail to see what a mermaid has to do with an interactive, avatar based website (which used to be a role-play community as said in previous front pages) so in that aspect I am not thrilled with it too much.
The 'punk' girl just didn't do it for me, it was based around high school, and didn't have a real connection to Gaia, at least at a slightly young-adult age myself.
Regardless if this is a 13+ website.

I don't really look though the voting thing. I don't do quests either tbh.
Half the time the things in the cinema just wont load so I just give up.
