57 years ago today, the US, Australia and New Zealand signed the ANZUS military pact. Though New Zealand backed out of the treaty, Australia and the US remain the closest of friends with our troops fighting side by side in Afghanistan and Iraq (well, no longer in Iraq, thanks to our new leftist douche of a prime minister, Kevin Rudd). Let's hope our friendship, united in common bonds of liberty, lasts for years to come.
Anyway, just a thread to say God bless the Commonwealth of Australia and God bless the United States of America.
