Ok, I know this might sound really boring, but it's actually a lot of fun!

I found some really cool roleplays that involve Genetic mutations. People are experimented on and giving animal DNa, which melds with there own. So you could be half of an animal and have those characteristics.

You can be 1/4 od an animal DNA, 1/2, or 3/4. YOU CANNOT UST BE AN ANIMAL! And at least semi-lit, if you dont mind!

We also need people to be scientist, otherwise it's kinda boring...but you can have an animal too.

PLOT:

There are towns you never hear of; ones that don't seem important or big enough to put on a map. This is one of those towns. Welcome to Hazelwood, Oregon. The people there live descent lives; there just like us, just normal people. But now, something's happening. Perfectly happy teenagers are running away, and no one has the answer as to why. Or do they?

80 feet below ground, there is a secret 'medical' facility, where healthy people are being experimented on. A shot of something and then tossed into a habitat. In 12 hours, they develop some strange symptoms; wings, fangs, cat ears, scales, etc. Now, these select group of 'Others' must either find away to survive the full process of the genetic mutation, or perish.

Bio: Riley was a very active child until she was captured. Since then, she's become extremely withdrawn. She's annoyed easily and doesn't like to talk much except to yell at people to shut it or make a wise-a** remark to the scientists. Riley has been at The Facility the longest, other than Becca.

Dr. Marcus began this experiment after being fired from her original job at St. Barnabas for various felenies. She began extracting DNA from neighborhood animals (raccoons, cats, birds, dogs, etc.) and putting them into relatives. After several failed attempts, she managed to create a half-humn, half-animal form of her eldest daughter, Becca. She began recruiting scientists and eventually started 'The Facility' where she performs the experiments on locals. She is cold hearted and enjoys tourturing everyone except her beloved Becca.

Riley stepped in front of the wolf, her ears ponted cutely but a sour expression plastered across her face. "What are you doing?" She asked angrily.

Dr. Marcus walked up, placing her hand on Riley's shoulder and looking at her. Riley gave her an angry look, and Dr. Marcus shoved her, sending her spiraling into a cage. She turned back toward the wolf. "Ah, you are Sheon, correct? It seems you have taken the express lane through the change completely. But we want you part human as well." She pulled a vial out of her labcoat pocket and inserted a needle. She withdrew the liquid, grabbed Sheon, and plunged it into her jugular.

Riley sat up in time to see the needle stab into the wolf and, screaming, she passed out.

Riley stirred slightly, cracking open her eyes and sitting up. She growled at Dr. Marcus before running to her habitat, spitting in Becca's cage before curling up in her nest.

Kara woke up in her habitat. The pond was pleasantly cool. She twisted and turned trying to stretch.

Doctor Liz crouched next to the cage of her latest experiment. "Hmm... Guess racoon blood and raven DNA don't mix..." She poked the creature through the bars. It didn't move. Liz opened the cage and pulled out what used to be a normal boy. She pulled a needle from her pocket and took a sample of it's blood. It lay limply on the ground. "Another failure... Let's see why it did this again... It can't be the test subjects, they're in their prime...." She kicked the corpse away and stood up.

Kara pulled herself out of the water and willed her tail to disappear. After a minute, her tail began to lose scales revealing a pair of normal legs. She pulled on her jeans and walked around the edge of the pond. "So boring... I want to leave..."

Kara clenched her fists. "I've been here how long, you freak? I've been here for a week already and they still haven't set." She forced herself into her half-fish form and leapt into the water. (Kara's in denial! gonk )

Liz looked up at Dr. Marcus. "Another failure. I'm going to look at his blood and see what happened this time. That girl was a 'success' but I can't catch the little brat for testing." Liz walked over to a small microscope on a cart. She put some of the blood on a petri-dish and started to examine. "Ah... The raven DNA is eating his blood from the inside. Taking the nutrients first. Basically this one starved to death, and no ammount of food would have saved him..." She started to mumble and pulled out a pad of paper. "Maybe instead of racoon blood, we use a nutrient storing type..."

Kara flailed and twisted trying to get free. "I won't be like you, I want to go home! I want to see my old friends and leave this stupid boring town!!"
Kara suddenly stiffened.

Dr. Liz walked past Kara's habitat. "Oh, poor little fishy! Come to Dr. Liz! She'll help you!!" Liz entered the habitat to see Kara suspended by her tail in Riley's grip. "Riley, must we have you constantly playing with the others? Perhaps you could talk to Becca? Or just talk to us? Anyways I need Kara's help now, so if you could please release her?"
