An abandoned city to the far east of Caemlyn. It was left to the ravages of time during the Last Battle and was never repopulated. It's currently an outpost of Aiel who have left their lands to explore the Wetlands.

Shakar came upon Nordasc in the dead of night. Dark and windy amongst the tall trees that lined the city she leaned slightly on the tree she peeked around. That river a couple miles back had almost killed her! "I hate moving water, i hate moving water, i hate the wetlands, I wanna go home, I have Ji'e'toh obligations. I love moving water, i love moving water.. i hate cities.. damn it." she thought as her eyes beheld the crumbling the stone houses in the area denoting a town uphead. A few camp fires caught sparkled in the distance. If not for that damn river she would of never known she was near the shadow cursed thing.

Soaked to the bone her teeth chattered wildly in her head. "I hate the cold too... " she thought vehemently and spat on the ground before rubbing her arms. She could not approach in the night and not be thought a enemy so she sat down on the ground. Shivering from the cold she took her shoufa off and rung it out hearing the water soak into the already fertile water cursed lands.

"Are you the one they sent to replace Weirla?" a woman asked her, striding over to the stranger. Hierra had encountered the encampment on her travels, hoping they would lead her to her sister. Unfortunately, there were no leads.
"You look rather wet - don't like water?" she asked unnecessarily, almost sounding amused as she looked down at the girl. "I can help you across, if you're that miserable."

Shakar jerked slightly when she heard the female voice behind her. Looking behind her she saw a woman with bright red hair and green eyes, Aiel traits, unless the stationed Aiel were no longer getting picky with who they boned anymore.
"Yeah, I am here to replace Weirla. I'm Shakar of the Bloody Water Sept of the Taardad Aiel." she Stood up, pushing off the tree to look at the woman better. If the woman was Aiel why did she wear such funny-looking clothes?
"No I love water...just not fast-moving water that is more than I have seen in my life that looks like it's ready to drag me to Shara if I let it." She referred to the country far across the Aiel Wastes that they sometimes did trade with, or had let the Cairhein do trade with before the oath-breaking tree killer cut it down.

(Capitalize 'I'. And don't forget punctuation/run-on sentances.)

"I've seen much more than that," Hierra said. Definite amusement laced her voice as she surveyed the young girl before her. Raising an eyebrow, she smiled. "You're awfully young to replace a warrior like Weirla," she remarked calmly.
She noticed the girl's curious stare at her clothing, but ignored it. Smiling more, she glanced back towards the river. "If you want to get across, you have to cross it. It's just calming down from a storm, so if you wait a little the strength of the current should lessen enough for you to wade across."

((okay,I'll try.))

"Well lucky you."Shakar's mind spat out toward the woman. She was either a wetlander or an Aiel use to travel in the wetlands to have seen more than that soul sucking shadow cursed river. Shakar made no comment about her age but slightly stood straighter so as to show the woman she was capable. "I did try to cross it.. The thing nearly sucked me under and snagged my buckler on something nearly drowning me." Shakar protested softly as if whining slightly and started to ring her shirt out.

(Don't stress out. It just takes practice.)

A grin flitted across Hierra's face before she shook her head. "You're lucky you got. I guess you have more skill than I thought," she decided, appraising the girl a second time.
She plopped down on the ground, tucking her skirts around her knees, and stretched. "Go ahead and dry out. You won't do anyone any good if you get sick from wet clothes," she admonished, her natural sister-side coming out.

Kalturi wondered into Andor, and found a town called Twinleaf, near the encampment her people had. She manipulated people for money and bought herself a wetlander dress that somewhat disgusted her. But if she was to hide from any of her kind she had to wear it. She found a nice big cloak that was perfect to hide the sword on her waist. Dressed as a wetlander noble with a nice cloak was a perfect disguise. She went to an inn call Dancing Turtles and got a room and a meal. At this time she had nothing to worry about.

[[Sorry about the names. First thing that came to mind, and it could have been a lot worst. xP]]

Shakar smiled brightly at the praise received from the woman. The girl loved praise and worked hard for it at times. Watching Hierra plop onto the ground in those funny looking skirts made her want to giggle but Shakar kept her mouth shut.
Nimble but slightly numb from the cold she undid the buckler of spears, a half empty quiver of arrows and her bow before unlacing her boots and dumping the contents onto the ground with a slight sigh. Her pants came next. Wringing those out was a bit hard but she did it and then her shirt came off and was rung out onto the ground. A waste of water, but with so much of it everywhere it must be endless in this place. Sitting down easily onto the ground Shakar looked the woman over slightly before undoing the braid that held the rat tail at the nap of her neck in place.

(( I won't freak out. ))

Hierra noticed her reaction to praise, and smiled herself. Shaking her own head and watching droplets of water fly from her hair, she looked up at the sky as the rain began to die down.
"Looks like it's finally passing," she remarked with a sigh of relief. "I can't wait to get back home where it's nice and dry," she added.

(Yo, Dork! Let us know when you're coming in.)

The girl tilted her head up and a water droplet fell into her eye. With a curse she rolled over to her side and rubbed the eye that water had fallen into. With the rain lessening a bit more pf the moon was evident in the sky after a few moments of winds blowing the clouds around. "Yeah.. I guess it is passing.." Shakar muttered softly and looked around the forest. Her longer than normal blond hair hung to her face sorta plastered there along with her rat tail down the middle of her back. Her scars from her first mission where evident in the growing light of the moon, they crisscrossed and did intricate almost slashes across the young girls legs and torso.

Hierra noticed the scars without comment, and shook her head. She had too many scars, though most weren't visible, to say something about someone else's.
"Is this your first time leaving the Waste?" she asked.

"Yeah it is.. How anyone can stand this much water eludes me.." she muttered softly looking in the direction of the river. Shakara had noticed the woman's use of 'waste' instead of three fold land and just shrugged it off the best she could. Shakara was to observatory for her own good at times. Taking her rat tail in hand the ran her fingers threw it quickly to try and make it dry faster but to no such luck. "Is it always wet in this blasted land?" she asked with an exasperated sigh
PostPosted: Tue Nov 25, 2008 10:29 pm
"Not always," Hierra replied cheerfully. "You'll grow accustomed to it, it's the wet season unfortunately."
She shrugged, and tried to dry her own hair as well. "It lasts the longest," she added with a sigh. "It makes travel difficult at times."

Shakar let out a loud groan and flung herself onto her back slightly annoyed at the words 'wet season' and 'lasts the longest.' She was half tempted to scream and wail like a child who had not gotten it's way. "That old woman sent me KNOWING it was the wet season!! I bet she did!" Shakara thought loudly and ground her teeth.
A man, Shakar's thunder walker escort came up from the shadows, his eyes glancing toward Shakar sprawled out on her back looking none to happy and in nothing but her skibbies. "Attempted to cross the river again... After i told you not too." his voice was calm but not amused and Shakar winced before giving the man her biggest 'Yes' grin.
