AAAAUUGH!
There were seven power outages in an hour where I live.
The was being used the first time. As the power went out, I went to investigate the cause.
After six more and learning that repairs were being done to the light posts in my street (new guy) I went in and turned on the Wii.
The thing is... it doesnt turn on. I un plug it and replug it, but nothing happens. The light stays off and it doesnt react to to anything.
Halp?

Hopefully it is either the outlet or the actual power cord. First try plugging the Wii into another outlet. If that doesn't work, you may have to send in the cord for an exchange, but it may also be the Wii itself.

How close do you live to NoA? I'll run it in and get it repaired. xD
srsly tho, what those two just said. First check the outlet that didn't power your Wii and see if something else will get power. Else, see if you can try a friend's power cable and/or try at their place.

thats how i almost lost my last computer
Battery Backup package:
"PROTECTS AGAINST POWER SURGES!"
one power surge and i smell smoke from the battery, four more later, i smell it coming from the computers power supply! *angry face*
but still that uh...
whats the word...
is very inconvenient for you.

I got a power outage once when I was playing Madden 08. I was online, so I automatically got a loss. Then I went back on, and saw that my game file was deleted. My rosters, settings, and everything. The only thing that stayed the same was my online record, because that's saved online.

I gots good news and bad news.
My phone came back (good news) and I called customer support. Sadly, there is no info on that happening.(bad news)
God dammit.
I tried earlier today again and my Wii turned on for moments before freezing completely.
I LOVE you too man.
