I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of pastries Usagi and the others eat on the show? XD I know the pink and white balls with filling are Daifuku, but what are the triangle ones in the wrappers? 3nodding

I'm pretty sure those are just rice balls. Not 100% though.

Ditto. But there are some other really nice desserts I've seen her eat: Castella Manju

Fairly certain those are onigiri. I'm not a big fan of them. At least, any with fish in them, since there are more kinds that the normal rice, egg, and nori paper.
Manju are really, really good.
That Castella cake, holy crap, I'm drooling just looking at it.
But seriously, the mochi, I suppose could be considered a doughnut in America. Since it's a rice cake filled with bean paste or random fruit filling. They're basically an unfried, powdered, jelly doughnut. They are quite good as well.

The scent of magic, the beauty that's been... -------------------
While it may or not be a dessert (I don't eat 'em anyway), there's this one episode where she calls crepes "ice cream cones". I think that was while DiC was dubbing the series though

Venombabe While it may or not be a dessert (I don't eat 'em anyway), there's this one episode where she calls crepes "ice cream cones". I think that was while DiC was dubbing the series though Well, I read that a certain crepe is eaten like an icecreme cone with cream cheese in the middle of it. If that was what they were doing, then you have to give DiC some credit--they were trying to make the show appealing and not many like cream cheese as a dessert or snack. They're trying to appeal to the general addience, not everyone knew what mochi or onigiri was, so cake, donut, ect would have to suffice.
