It's getting increasingly annoying to have to play Rock Band 2 and hear a song sung by a girl coming from a boy's mouth. confused
The same thing happens vice versa, it's terrible. And hilarious.
This isn't only my game, right? I have the Wii version of Rock Band 2; does this happen in the other system's versions? I just though I'd share that this is getting a little too ridiculous for me.

No only the Wii version.
The PS3 and 360 change your gender to make it song appropriate.

It pisses me off when the Wii version of something is worse than the others.

I thought you meant like real life people singing on the mic. I don't really know. It probably depends on your band members doesn't it?

Umm...I own the PS3 version, and it doesn't change the gender of the singer when you're doing multiple songs in a setlist that have different gendered singers.

Yes, but even if you don't have an assigned singer if you play a set with say, a boy's song 1st and a girl's song 2nd, it doesn't change the singer xp

Yeah, that's probably the same with all versions.

If you made a complete band and want to see them perform, but suddenly your singer is replaced with some weird looking hiipy girl, I'd be pretty upset.
I don't mind the fact that the band members don't swich out because the animations and expressions for the band members are still great.
And it's freaking hilarious to see this balding old guy singing Blondie - One way or Another.

It does do it on the other systems, but only during a set list.

You can do one of two things.
1. Initiate a suspension of disbelief
2. Pretend the lead singer is a eunic

Thats why me and my friends made Kendall. He is from sweden and his colors are yellow and pink. He has a yellow afro and yellow beard, tight yellow spandex, and a f** shirt. He's too awesome not to be gay, but he has the voice of an angel. xD

Your singer does not change during a set.
If you had a mystery setlist, and it the songs were Round and Round, You Oughta Know, One Way or Another, and Kids in America, then the male singer you get will stay with you until the end of the set.
