Looking at my Nintendo 64 this morning I thought back to that time, when the console came in so many different colors, and how it's so different than now, where each console basically comes in one color, and it's boring. The N64 was infamous for coming in a s**t ton of colors, and there was something very cool about being able to choose any color that you wanted for your console.
I wish you could do that sort of thing now, but Nintendo (at least) is having so much trouble keeping their console on shelves to add another color at the moment, the 360 has a white and a black, and Sony has their behemoth of a black console. What happened to the fun colors?
I had a black Nintendo 64 to start off with, but I was a huge Pokefan, so my mom's then-boyfriend eventually bought me the blue and yellow Pikachu Edition one. I miss my old blackie.
How 'bout you?

I have the old black one.
I also have one that is see-through. You can look at it and see all the internal components.
And they both still function perfectly. The controllers, however...well...

My N64 was the normal black, my second (given to me by my cousin David) was also standard black, my third (given to me by by David's older sister) was the DK 64 edition. One that I didn't own, but played often was my best friend's Pikachu one.
All of those except David's has been given to other cousins who never had the honor of owning the 64. I have only seen one other recolor in person, and that is my old neighbor's Ice Blue.

Black for me aswell. I remember the alt-colors ad. You could get anything but yellow, hence the angry pikachu.

Mine was just the ol' black. I got it used though since I'm young... *sigh* I can't connect it to my new TV though so it just sits in a closet.

I remember that I still have my NES and N64 boxes in the basement. I love the N64 game cartridge boxes. Whatever happened to colorful cardboard? That s**t was the bomb, I loved the color scheme.

I have whatever the standard color is.
It was more of a dark gray than a black.
