To all... I am X Makibi...
I am returning to the Tenchi Guild with high expectations. As the name says... Report In...
For those of you who do not know me... I am Rei-sama's Right Hand High Caliber Weapon, I have ways of acquiring information... But I do not threaten... just something to keep in mind...
Born in Hiroshima, Japan/raised in Maryland; I am 23 years old, with plentiful experience in Anime (especially Tenchi Muyo), Own every Videogame system currently on the market (Gamertag PS3 & XBOX360: EvilJuantor), and will be cosplaying as an Umbrella Corporation Special Forces Marine for Otakon this year ( I attend every year). Please feel free to ask me anything and Tell me anything. The purpose of this Thread is for all of the Guild Members to introduce themselves to me as well as anyone new and fill me in on Current IRL agendas (at your descretion of course).
As for myself, I have worked two jobs for the last two years which would explain my absence... the economy hasn't treated me well... I recently left my second job so I could catch up on me time (The guild being included). I own a 1981 Honda CB400T Hawk and 1988 Toyota Celica st/gt, both getting personally "Pimped"... I love guns of all shapes and sizes and know them just as well... I'm pretty outgoing but only if it fits the situation...

I recall that debate... Kinda 5050 on that topic though... Not too many Tenchi Specific Forums out there... we are the first after all... Doesn't hurt to spread out the topics though...

Yeah. We ARE the only Tenchi Guild...on the other hand this place isn't as alive as it used to be. It's not like we get any new members, Tenchi Muyo is just too old crying crying
Still though you all should check in and state your ages and such. That way Maki-chan can get to know you people again. I don't have to do it, because I'm impossible to forget twisted heart

I am Chibi, aka Jeff, aka The Kid. Currently 20, and currently putting my social life on hold. I say I'm putting a lot of things on hold, like school, girlfriends, sleeping, eating, video games, because I have been hired for a 3 month outage for a nuclear power plant. I'm currently 2/3 of the way finished which is more correct than saying 3/4 since 2/3 is the shorter of the two numbers. I work 6 10 hour shifts a week from 4pm to 2am and spend any free time sleeping, eating, trying to catch up on the internet when it works (ie, Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles, Gaia, email), or reading. When the outage is finished I wish to be hired full time permanent for this position because the money is outrageously good, and straight time is 40 hours a week, and we'll supposedly never have such a stressfull outage again, and it would be a great career move, and I would only have to go to college tentatively. This conflicts however with my ultimate goal of returning to Japan for a long term experience, and/or possibly getting to know my Japanese sweetie better in her own land. If not, I'm sending her the plane ticket to fly here. I think the guild would probably get some more action if one of the leaders got some ad space on gaia advertising the guild, or even landing the community spotlight. HOWEVER, before this happens, I suggest cleaning up any "THE GUILD IS DYING,'' "NO ONE COMES HERE T___T" threads. All for the moment, need to go to work >_<

Well Chibi, I can say that its good to know that someone out there is doing well for themselves. "Hard times" so they say... Shame you can't enjoy Japan (My Homeland too), but there is always time in the future. I've got a good feeling that the Guild will be improving in due time. Also I'll try to promote it soon. I've gotten some talk/lecture time at a community college down here and there's an Anime Club. I know the president, so I'll talk to her to get some Tenchi in there. We'll see, it has potential. Nuclear Power Plant... that is good work. Keep it up. I recall some of your Photos. You did seem pretty outgoing. Good Job with that too. Life needs you to enjoy it sometimes...

I am Yami Takashi, the residential chaotic character around her. I like to do weird random things at any time and to anyone. I have such a sick twisted sense of humor that, despite being into girls, will hit on guys and rub up against them to see their fear.
Ask around.
I enjoy anime in general, and i think the only anime i can bad mouth is Bobobobobo

I'm 2NA, or Kagato, or Kaggie, or Fishie, or whatever you like...generally ineffective mod here...older than some of you put together...born in D.C, raised in N.C., and currently in CA. I work at an aquarium where I am paid a little more than I was back when I was 16, which is pretty symbolic as to my general lack of progress over the last few decades. I drive a '91 Honda Accord EX, and live with my gal in a little apartment by the beach.
I hope to attend Fanime this year, but that is becoming increasingly unlikely - right now, just keeping the lights on is difficult enough. I support expanding the scope of the guild, but have yet to see any suggestions that will work.

Well Kagato-chan needs to find a new better paying job so I can see him!
Also if you don't go to FanimeCon, maybe you and your lady can come up here for a day trip to visit me? ninja
Also I think cleaning up this Guild, and then putting it up on the Community Spotlight is a GREAT idea! heart
I put my mods in charge of that as I am too lazy to do it myself ninja
