On the guild home page, there's an option at the bottom where you type in the gold amount and your password.

Question, where do our donations go? I mean what are the guilds expenses, if there are any.

Buying more subforums is really it; I don't think we'll be buying any more subforums... There's no way to transfer the funds to like a guild mule account or anything. =/ So really the money just sits there and does nothing.

Oh.
So has the guild ever made a request like 'The guild is in need of your donations' or anything like that?
I mean, unless kaykeyser and the others really just have a lot of gold in their accounts.

We did once, about... gosh, maybe 3 years ago? The guild was experiencing some growing pains, so we expanded. It hasn't happened since. There's been a joining fee of about 25g(since removed), and we add about 20-30 people a day. Guild's currently sitting on about 1.4 million gold and there's nothing we can do with it.

Woah, that's a lot of gold.
I'm glad people were willing to pay the entrance fee. But then again 25g is relatively small.
I imagine the amount of RP's there were in a single forum. I mean Naruto in the same forum as Twilight, there must've been a lot of traffic.

Some places are still very high traffic, some are incredibly slow. I about cried if I forgot to bookmark an RP page when it was single forum because I had to compete with the Romance, the creatures, and the medieval stuff. There were fewer people then, but still.

One of the highest amounts I've seen is the vampire forum. Still I guess that means people are active in the group. It makes me shudder at how much RP's you guys have to go through just to check if everything's in order.

Ah yes. My forum. Gotta love the vampire people.
At some point we do have to leave it up to the users to govern themselves. I work, I'm in college full time... I personally cannot go through every last post made in any of the forums I watch.

Yeah, mods aren't machines after all. Anyway hopefully the people will follow the rules without you guys having to enforce them.
Oh and thanks for the chat, learned a lot about this guild. 3nodding
