I think ash's dad is ho-oh.I know it sounds crazy but I think it's true.

At the start of ash's journey ash sees ho-oh.

In Johto ash sees ho-oh again and in Hoenn he sees Ho-oh again.

So its like Ho-oh is watching out for ash like a dad should. 3nodding

Yeah. Uh. WHAT? Seriously, now, what the flaffy are you on about, 'ere? If 'watching out for his kid' was the sole suggestion for canidacy, Oak'd be a more likely canidate. Pshyea, right. ninja Plus, the non-human thing is... welll... hell, if Ash was ANY pokemon's kid, it's most likely to be a Ditto. I mean, seriously--Delila Ketchum, when confronted with Ho-Oh, would not be likely to say "OH WOW. I SHOULD TOTALLY SLEEP WITH THAT."

Perhaps Ho-oh can take the shape of a human like Latias.

Anyways ash was a pre-teen when he saw Ho-oh each time.So it's like Ho-oh looks out during his time as a pre-teen.

how can Ho-oH transform it's only mew and ditto that have that main ability but in pokemon heroes latias does transform..... but Ho-oH is a no no she must've ******** professor oak anywho... heres a quick comic for ur little heads ;D

I really don't think so. For one, it's a pokemon. I think it would be sooner Mewtwo than Ho-oh. I think the only reason Ho-oh is "watching out for Ash" is that Ho-oh "sees the good in people" or something like that. I think Ash's daddy is Giovanni. but I have no proof, it's just a guess.

In most Asian culture Ho-oh is a real myth. they made him after he appeared in the first episode and no one recognized him. in jappenese lore Ho-oh is seen at the dawn of the new age. that is the only reason he was in the first episode.
