So I finally finished my poncho I had advertised for weeks on end...

I won't be offened by negative comments. I don't like it. So It's fate will be the head hole will be sewn up and it will become a picnic blanket for children.

I love the alpaca! (or llama?) 3nodding And I think your solution of turning it into a blanket is a great idea, especially if you don't like it enough to wear it. (I know I have some of those projects lurking around in the depths of my closet... sweatdrop ) Can't wait to see more of your finished projects~!

It's Crocheted with worsted wight yarn, and the worst orange yarn too...
To make it is very simple, it's just doing sc with color changing while hiding the other color in the yarn as you crochet.
And yes, it's a Llama. I don't like it because it just hangs there. doesn't do anything for me. (and my wife hates it!)
Somewhere buried deep in the forums are a couple more threads posted by me of other stuff I have done... If you can find it...

That's okay. I turned it in to a picnic blanket. Even though my wife hates the way the thing looks, I told her that it would be better to have the kids take that outside than to have them take their nice bed quilts, or even ours, outside.

I think it's great! Not so much as a poncho, but as a blanket it's really cool.

It looks like one of those awesome handwoven wall hangings you can buy in Peru or somewhere. And the llama is heart
