So I suppose anyone can discuss verbs here but I just have simple translation question; what is the verb for;
to shoot (a gun)
to finish
to let, to allow
to earn
to pet, to stroke
to turn
to fly
to spin
to shoot (photos)

If you could also inform me of any stem changes that'd be great! mrgreen

I also had a question reguarding "hay" what is it?
is it a verb? I know it means there is or there are but what is it's infinitive?

i didn't think "hay" came from a verb... i only know it to mean "there are"... how does "to have" relate to "there are"? and i thought "to have" was tener? im confused!

Yeah... Haber in spanish means something else, I don't even know how to explain it sweatdrop

Look here an examples:

1. There is no wine --> No hay vino.
2. What's the news? --> Que hay de nuevo?

so im noticing haber is auxillary for the Perfect and Perfect Subjunctive tenses, but i don't know what those are. does anyone have any idea?

Haber is an auxiliary verb to form all the composed times in our conjugation, not only in the subjunctive. Subjuntive is one of our "times" in conjugation of verbs.

Same as ser/estar is an auxiliary too.

Haber /tener... meaning as verb itself is To have.
But "haber" used like auxiliary would have just the meaning to give the right idea of time in english.
But again in English conjugation is shorter than in spanish.
