How long have you been a furry?

As you may have read in the subject line, How long have you been a furry? And I do not mean role play furries or wannabes. I personally have been one for 6+ years, NEVER changed my fursona and am proud not to be a yiffing/sex obsessed moron like most.

I have been into the fandom most of my life but I consider myself to have become a true furry over the past few months. I have no intention to ever change my fursona and it's nice to find another furry that isn't obsessed with the sexual elements of the fandom. No offence ot any of you here, the only furries I have met in real life have tended to lean more towards yiffing than I would like, but each to their own.

probably about 1 and a half yeras now, i guess i went true furry about 4 months ago tho, because thats when i got the *cough obsession cough*
urge to buy a full body fox suit. i've got $200/$900 saved up yayz ^.^

That makes me happy to hear! It just goes to show that we aren't really bad people and how people can change to fit the world around them. That's a key thing in life! We need to be more accepting and bring everyone together!

Haha, I feel so bad compared to you guys.
Actually, I've always liked them.
For a couple years, I was a closet furry. Secretly obsessed. Only because my best friends are Furry-phobic. To the extreme.

I actually just came out of the "Den", as I like to call it, about a week and a half ago. When I started publicly drawing them.

I do not plan on ever changing my Fursona. I'm a fox, and I'm very very content with that.

I've been a furry pretty much all my life without knowing it, same as being gay, though that i realized a lot earlier. I realized I was a furry about a year or two ago and i've just started to be open about it. Though i haven't to one of my friends cause I don't want to loose them, not only because I used to sorta have a crush on him, but also because he doesn't have to many friends, and he's fun to be around. Sorry for explaining my life's complications, felt like something i should put out there.
