For centuries, vampires and humans have been at war. Now, with the mysterious death of the vampire king, his eldest son (by five minutes) is ready to take the crown. Just one problem: His mother, the queen, won't let him become king without having a woman at his side. So, it was a race against time to find a bride before his twin brother. Once again, dear old mother stepped in. She formed an alliance, albeit an unsteady one, with the humans. And, being as over controlling as she is, picked out a bride for her eldest son from among the humans. Unfortunately, this young woman is a stubborn, spirited female. How will the cold, serious Crown Prince of Ulunbar ever survive this marriage? Will the alliance with the humans succeed? And will his dark-hearted twin try to take the crown from him? Only time will tell.

Theo walked down the grand staircase, moonlight spilling through the windows. Stupid marriage. Stupid humans. Why couldn't they just enslave the humans and get it over with? It should be easy enough. They were so weak. ...But there were so many of them. He gritted his teeth, his footsteps echoing as he walked along the marble flooring. His fiancee was supposed to be arriving tonight and, if all went to plan, they would be married by the end of the week. Great. Just great. But, it would be better than giving his brother the crown. He could only imagine the Hell Donovan would bring to the world if he were king.

Elizabeth was sitting in a the back of a dark red limo, heading to the home of her fiancee of some vampire prince. She wished she could just hope out and just leave and go home. Way was she getting married to some Vampire prince in the first place. 'Gah, everything doesn't make since anymore.' she thought to herself as she slumped down in the soft seat of the vehicle. She wondered how long it would be until they reached the place she was to be staying for the, well until she finally broke the prince into not wishing to marry her and then, bingo, no marrage. An evil smirk played over her lips as she stared outside the window. It would be over in a matter of days, there was no worring to be done. She was not about to marry someone that she did not want, and she never will.

Theo frowned when he heard a vehicle pull up in front of the palace. His blue and yellow gaze shifted towards the front double doors of the extremely large building. His mother, like always, was off seeing to wedding details so she wouldn't be present. And there was no way in Hell he was letting Donovan be present. He'd locked his brother in one of the many closets. Heh heh. Dumb s**t. He turned his attention back to the doors, his hands joined together behind his back. He was wearing a silver button-up jacket, hiding a gray sweater, and a pair of navy blue pants. He'd thought it best to make a good first impression.

The car stopped and Elizabeth got out before one of the divers was able to open it for her. She wore a white jacket, with a furred hood, along with a white pair wants with siver flower designs crawling up to stop mid thigh. She also wore a tanish cream shirt under the unzipped jacket with white combat boots to finish it off. Her black hair was pulled up into a loose ponytail, her bangs falling lossly against her face, framing it. Her violet eyes landed on the male that stood at the entrance of the double doored home. She stood there for a moment, scaning over the male with her intence gaze.

Theo's gaze locked on the woman that stepped out of the limo. His gaze was indifferent, icy, though, surprisingly enough, not hostile. He couldn't afford to get on the bad side of his fiancee before they even properly met. "You must be Elizabeth Redloir," he said. His voice was deep, though not as deep as some. He stepped down the stone stairs slowly, well, slowly for a vampire. "I'm Theo Renalldi."

Elizabeth sneered at him as he made his way toward her. "So you are the one I am suppose to merry." she looks him up and down and smirks as she turned to get her things from the trunk, but finds the two drivers with her things. She sighes heavly and stares at them for a moment then turns to speak to Theo. "So were is everyone at? Just you in this place or somethin'." the meer thought of being alone with this man for a meer second was scary enough. She shivered and stood there waiting for an answer from her so called, fiancee.
((Hey, I have to get off for a bit so I can eat, I will be back on as soon as I can.))

((ok)) Theo just nodded slightly in response to her first question. As she looked him up and down, he did the same. He could see why his mother chose her for him. She was quite beautiful, well, for a human anyway. At her words, he frowned. "My mother is seeing to wedding details and my brother is locked in a closet somewhere," he told her. No need to beat around the bush or sugar coat anything. Turning to the drivers, he said, "Take her things to her room." He'd already designated her a room and informed the drivers prior of which one it was.

The drivers scurried up and into the home, leaving them behind to speak. Elizabeth stared at him for a second, wondering wy in the world his brother was locked inside a closet. "Oh, so why is your brother in a closet, did he loose his mind or something in there?" she asked sarcastically with a smile. She walked up to him and then brushed past him and into the home and began to look around inside.

Theo watched in silence as the drivers hurried inside before he turned his odd-colored gaze back to his fiancee. "Because he's an evil s**t head," he said calmly in response to her question. He turned as she walked past him, following her through the large, wooden double doors. The room they entered was large but empty. It held the grand staircase and a few doors around the edges, leading to the kitchen or some closet or something else.

Elizabeth 'tsked' and she headed over to the staircase as the large room held no enteresting things. She looked up the staircase and then looked back at Theo. "Were this go?" she asked tilting her head toward the staircase. She began to climb the stairs slowly, her sun kissed hand glidded across the rail as she went.

"Upstairs," Theo pointed out icily. "Bedrooms, bathrooms and such." He walked past her up the stairs, not bothering to wait for her. "Now, let's get a few things straight right away." He turned and looked down at her when he reached the top of the staircase. "I don't want this marriage either but we have no choice. I don't care if you don't like me, I don't care if you hate me, but unless you want my brother to take the crown, which you really don't want, you will suck it up and go through with the wedding. After that, you can live on the other side of the palace and only have to deal with me during ceremonies and balls." Unfortunately, throughout this whole speech, he hadn't even considered the thought of heirs.
