I had my piano looked at today and it needs to be brought to concert pitch, new bass strings, dampers, hammers, and felt things that go in the keys. The price don't even ask X_X. I want to fix it so it will sound beautiful again and i can play it but just wow the money. emo
Ever had major work done to your piano? Or instrument in general?

You know, I bet if I had my piano looked at, it would need either that much work, or possibly more. My mom bought it cheap from someone, and it's never been touched while in our house.
It's in such poor shape that it sounds more like a harpsichord, and each octave is dissonant and out of tune. D:
Just tuning a piano I thought cost upwards of 70 bucks or something.

I once had a friend who opened up her upright piano, and it was filled to the brim with dust. @.@
