i have read all 4 books,before the movie came out,and i was really mad abt the movie.it really didnt match the book,very well
but i will prolly check out new moon when it leaves theatres and is only a buck at redbox

I am a dude that also read/enjoyed the twilight series.... and I thought the movie wasn't bad.... in fact alot of the complaints people had about the movie were things that were made a big deal of in the book and so couldn't have been any other way and still been true to the original material..... smile

Stephanie Meyer is a terrible writer! The series draws you in because it's so full of angst and easy to relate to in your high school years, but as a piece of literature is worthless. Her use of the language is rather pathetic considering she was an English major in college... but then, I suppose when writing something to mainstream, you are bound to make it rather... basic. I can't say I'm very impressed by her as an author. I have yet to read The Host, but I'm not very tempted considering what I know of her thus far.

I read the first three books of the Twilight Saga, and skimmed through the fourth one because it was just too ridiculous to take seriously. I roleplay vampire stuff on Ravenblack Requiem, which is based off an on-line point-and-click grid game revolving vampires. I'm used to more realistic and lore when it comes to bloodsuckers, but I guess reading Meyer's story wasn't a complete waste of time...

I just wished people wouldn't idolize her and make such a great deal about her. She pretty much used the teenage angst drama plot base authors have been using for centuries!

The first movie was good, quite funny actually. I don't think many of the actors can act, and as an Emmett fan, I wish to see more Kellan in the upcoming films. I liked the indies feel the first movie had, but I think the upcoming movies may be more engaging...

What is it with Edward?! He's a pathetic character!
I pledge allegiance to Team Jacob. Through and through.

I'm still in Eclipse... Starting to hate the main character... Bella is disgustingly ordinary and cares about people too much!! She REEKS of Mary-sue-ness. I'm going to finish the series though, just to see what Bella's like as a vampire. I hope it's actually in there.

The movie SUCKED!! All the gorgeous vampires were ugly sacks of s***!! And no one could act! It was horrifying! DX

I remember when the movie came out. There was this hot girl who liked me, and wanted me to "see" the movie with her, but we were actually kissing all the way along the movie, but the parts I actually saw were VERY boring! She had seen the movie like 4 times already xD
