I feel like Nicci

Ever since mid-April, I've had this "incredibly bored" feeling, as I called it then, that was driving me crazy. It seemed no matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of it. As time went on, it sort of turned into a "incredibly lonely" feeling, since when I hung out with friends it seems to "weaken" like it almost went away.

While I read Faith of the Fallen, on the parts of the books where it developed on Nicci's search for what she was missing, I noticed this feeling I had seemed to do that "weaken" thing like when I hung out with friends. However, after finishing the book, I understand what the feeling is.

There is something missing from my life, but I don't know what it is. It's starting to get unbearable. The thing is life isn't like a book. neutral

I can't just get-up-and-go find what I'm looking for... I don't know what to do...

It's not the whole concept of life that I'm looking for. I'm not searching for the same thing as Nicci did. I just, feel the same way, about some OTHER feeling... It's maddening.

my other advise is to get off the internet. when i feel lost, unfocused and totally uninterested in everything the internet never helps. i generally shut off my computer and do something active.

like, go for a run or something. read a book. play a sport.

you need to make your life an adventure...i had to do that...see everything in a new light, appreciate the little things. if you start smiling for no reason, you soon find reasons to smile. i know it sounds crazy but ive been where you are and it just takes takes little steps and eventually youre somewhere wonderful with no idea how you got there

Trying getting off the computer for awhile, it really does help.

You could also try going outside to an open, quiet, nature like area and meditate. Maybe being in a peaceful state you can search your soul and find what is missing.
