What is your favorite season?

Mine is spring, I like the freshness thats in the air and to see the green growing things start springing up. The chrips of the birds freshly returned from their winter vacation and the little animals that come out after their winter naps. smile

Fall would be my next choice though. wink

C: Oooh, I totally agree Hazu~!

Just adore spring. <3 All the flowers; but damn thee hayfever! *shakes fist in agitation* Still, I suppose all the nice colours n' flowers n' pretty birdies makes it all better blaugh ... kinda..

I also have a thing for winter though. ;3 I like the nice cold, briskness of it.

I'd have to say my favorite season is Fall.

All of the best holidays are in fall, Thanksgiving and Halloween, and my birthday is in fall.

I love the weather the most of all, its not too cold and not too hot. Mind you in LA the weather doesn't stay that way for the entire season.

Those are some really good reasons to like fall. In Michigan it depends on the hour what kind of weather it is outside. smile

... Late Autumn and into winter. I like when it kinda starts to get cold, and all the trees are orange and the world gets nice and dark.
... LITERARY JUICE!!!
The leaves rustle in the branches of a nearby maple tree as the cool autumn breeze blows through your hair, it's loose strands playing across your face. As you look down the small hill you're sitting on into the valley below, you can see the wind ripple through the golden wheat as it climbs the hill and continues off into the countryside. The view of the river valley below is bathed in the golden light as the sun fades into the horizon in a spectacular autumn sunset. Flocks of birds are flying off into the distance, as if the threat of the coming darkness has spurred them into taking flight. The crisp smell of the fallen leaves fills your perception as you take a deep breath of the chill air. You notice the smell of burning firewood from somewhere off in the distance, it's smell familiar and comforting.

Bam! ... That one was harder than normal, for some reason...

Wow; I just had a mini-dream of being back in Tennessee at my Aunt Lois house, rocking in a chair, sipping iced tea, and holding onto my fishing pole for dear life. wink

I don't believe innuendo and hidden meanings are my forté. I can do them, but It takes a while. I just paint pretty mental pictures with words.

Besides... it takes a total jerk to say something like

YOU ARE NOW IN CONTROL OF YOUR BREATHING
YOU ARE NOW IN CONTROL OF YOUR BLINKING
YOU ARE NOW AWARE OF EXACTLY HOW TIRED YOU ARE
YOU ARE NOW AWARE OF YOUR EMOTIONAL STATE
YOU ARE NOW AWARE OF HOW HUNGRY YOU ARE
YOU ARE NOW AWARE OF HOW MUCH YOU NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM
YOU ARE NOW AWARE OF AN ITCH SOMEWHERE ON YOUR BODY

Now that I see them in Word form, it does look sort of lame. But I do agree that you bring vibrant imagery to your writing.
