Metroid Prime Trilogy Animal Crossing: City Folk Super Mario Galaxy Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Mario Kart: Wii
This list isn't necessarily my personal choices but are very good games that I think cover all bases. It's got multiplayer covered with Animal Crossing and Mario Kart, it has Zelda and Metroid for the really big adventure experience, and Super Mario Galaxy, since it's the best game on the console. It has relaxing games, exciting games, competitive games, and games that are just amazing and not to be missed. On top of that, every game in the list is well worth the money, and will give you many hours of gameplay. Good gameplay, too. No grindy RPG bs. I know some would argue that Animal Crossing is, but that game is designed to be relaxing, not some epic fantasy quest.
I'm not really feeling it for Brawl anymore. Like, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed if you got it, but there are better games on the console. Brawl would be the best multiplayer game if the wi-fi wasn't so unreliable. Unreliable is a little better than the s**t fest it used to be, though.
