I found a reason to want to go to Portland, OR. There is a place there called Ground Kontrol. It's a retro arcade.....with a bar and lots of pinball machines. It's more than that though. You can play retro consoles as well as purchase them, such as an NES or a Genesis and whatnot. You can also buy arcade cabinets from them. Apparently, they want to expand and start serving food and stuff too. They also host Rock Band tournaments as well, though, to be frank, I don't care about that part. www.groundkontrol.comSome video footage of the place.I envy anyone who lives near this place.

Holy crap! That looks Freaking awesome. And the fact that they may start serving as well? Its a gamers Heaven.
Now we just need the invention of the portable waste disintergater so we can eliminate the need to get up and go...

In fact, there's footage in one video I saw where they had an NES set up right at the bar itself.

It'd be better if I was 21, but that's bad-a**. If I lived in Portland, I'd be there in a heartbeat, no doubt.

Kinda like the Chatterbox Pub in Minneapolis. You sit down, order a cocktail, and buy an hour of NES, SNES, and Genesis gaming for a dollar.

I must go to this place. It'll probably take me about two or so days to drive there from where I live (maybe less if I start going early in the morning).
But if I'm ever my visiting relatives in Oregon, I'm so heading to this place.
