The Pit

A large dark hole towards the center of the darkness, a recration place for the people who live in the underearth. A very docile place where children of darkness play. It is very calm yet when a person of light enters a fight can break out in a matter of seconds.

A devil appeared from out of the fog of darkness that surrounded the underearth. A simple man stood alone, wearing a black cloak and holding a weapon of light in his arms. He was clenching it like his life, refusing to let go of the small amount of light left in his corrupted soul. Looking around, his eyes began to turn white, it was gonna happen.

Screaming hate. the man began to cuss profanities repeatedly. Swinging his arms around, tears began to roll down his slender face, his white as ash skin begining to rise and fall with the rapid breathing of the frightened Teran. Lifting both arms into the air, a blast of light was launched from his fingertips, scorching the flesh as the bright light launched from them. Light like a flare, it shone brightly as if to attract someone or something. Now calmed slightly, he began to clench his fist in anger. The darkness retreating into the vicinities of his heart, he was regular again. His eyes there crimson color again, and a smile came over his face as he realized that with the darkness inside of him, his light was just as powerful in the pit as it would be in the light of the city of the sky.

Twisting and turning for a bit, Teran pulled his black and worn cloak over his stressed face. A few wrinkles began to form on his brow, and even in his early twenties, his black hair has lost its shine. Feeling unable to do much more, Teran found a nearby rock, surrounded by no creatures, and sat down on it, closing his eyes waiting for the embrace of sleep to overtake him.

A bright light shone as a nauseated Defaeco shot out, tumbling over in the middle of a front flip. he got up, and started to brush off dirt but then realized where he was. The Pit. The worse place for someone like the king to be, especially since he used light. It was dangerous down here. As he looked around, scanning for something that would try to kill him, he noticed one man, one man sitting on a rock. He was cloaked, but the presence of the man was familiar... "Oh. Crap," he said under his breath as the realization hit him. Teran. The man he had to kill, the man he was ordered to kill. By his own father. The beginning of Defaeco's corruption.

Smiling, Teran got up from his rock, he seemed to be sleeping, no longer corrupted yet still slightly upset. Walking ever closer to his friend he stood next to him. "Defaeco, you are here alone. Let me escort you out of here. I dont know what is happening, but if I start to attack you run..." Teran smiled, his face began to glow with its former glory, a bit of light luminating off of his perfect teeth. Cracking his knuckles, he drew his weapon and a light began to glow from it, it was darkness based, so no demons would follow them. " I know... There are more reasons then you think for what I am doing. You left me to die... but I am better then you, I am not going to leave you like you did me. Get out of here and then dont look for me, I know your plan..." snearing, his smile faded into a frown as he began to walk.  

[Rinexe]

Defaeco was interested in the fact that Teran wasn't going to try to kill him, not that he really could, or so Defaeco thought. He reluctantly started following, holding his staff tightly, and ready to attack whatever came at him. His eyes darted everywhere, now seeing more demons try to edge close, but back away when realizing the two's power. He was really resisting the urge not to purify the entire group.

Staring back to Defaeco he began to speak. "calm down, they wont attack because of my darkness. You are my prey and my darkness is more then the entire mass of them, but if you even attack once then they will jump on you with an intent to kill. Be strong Defaeco because you will be sure that as soon as I found out that you actually did leave me to die I will hunt you down and kill you with my own light. Anyway the exit is coming up, there will be a guard here, be prepared, don't use your light or we are gonna be assulted further. I can help you get out with my darkness."

Waving his blade the darkness seeped into the ground, and more demons began to come. They were being hoarded by the mass of black that emitted from this devil's veins. He had basic control over the element, although if he even released a bit more, he might end up losing control. Then it happened, a demon jumped straight for Defaeco's face. It was going to attack to kill. More followed in its attempt, all jumping to Dafaeco. "cant be helped..." teran sighed as he held his blade over his shoulder while he waited for the reaction, and the probable use of light from Defaeco.  

[Rinexe]

"Heh," he laughed, but just a small one. He held out his staff horizontally, and placed his hand over the one holding the staff. His palm faced all of the demon now launching at him. This was the worst place for them to attack him. There was plenty of dark magic to draw in around him. It seeped into the staff then to his hand. As the first demon came at his face, a white ball formed in his hand and immediatly exploded, hitting that demon and 25% of the attacking. They were purified. The turned into a white mist that flowed around Defaeco, that he twirled with his finger after bringing his free hand into the air above him, causing the mist to circle him like an aura. More came at him, and the counter attack started. He swung his arm down sending the mist toward another 25% of the demons, draining their powers, turning them into a fine powdery dust. "You can take the rest, Teran," he said with a smile.

"Damnit...You do know that your light is going to cause a reaction." a blast of darkness began to emit from Teran, his hair beginning to turn white while his skin began to peal like ash. Opening his mouth the black insides began to emit a small fog. the large blade he held was completely black now. "This is mine!" the beast screamed, as the rest of the demons began to retreat slightly, Grabbing Defaeco by the arm, he began to sprint, a look of disgrace overcoming his features. "really really dumb you know that. You would have died if any stronger demons were here." the glowing black blade began to glow brighter as Teran grew wings, the both of them lifting off of the ground as they began to retreat.

"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH THE KING! Angelus Rex Rgis!" he shouted, sprouting his own bright wings, like floating pure diamonds. Across him, a bright white armor formed over him, trimmed with gold. It was a light armor, but it almost made him seem like an angel.He kicked away holding his staff to the side in both hand, with his knees slightly bent. "You fool! You think these pesky demons could kill me? Greater demons would not come here anyhow, for they stay deeper, gaining more power! These little ones are only as powerful as my knights! Any my knights are just soulish little pests!" he yelled at Teran. "I am KING FREAKING DIABOLUS!" he continued to yell. He swung his staff to the side, and spun it once for an effect while he started to form a white ball in his other hand. "It's time to finish what my father wanted me to finish a long time ago!"

Finally, it was true. Defaeco was the cause of this. He would regret it. Wings falling to dust, the silent shadow began to fall to the ground like a leaf, its elegant progression to the ground caused all the nearby demons to flee in fear, a few more powerful ones began to gather around as Teran landed on the ground, a shockwave of darkness and dust shooting out as the rest of the more powerful demons were launched back. It looked like a drunken fight, many yelling and screaming voices surrounding Teran in a circle as room was made for the insignificant and unlucky challenger to land. "Your light is reduced in strength here. My darkness will destroy all hopes of your escape." Cackling, a aura of black began to surround the white skin and now white hair of the man, it was beginning to happen. Darkness was beginning to focus through the tips of his skin, his fingernails and eyes becoming pure black, darker then the night, while his skin had darkness corrupting his already darkened heart. His veins could be seen through his skin, all of them black. The skin was graying as it was darker then a storm cloud. Teran took off his sunglasses and his black cloak, wearing a simple black shirt. He held holy slayer high above his head and began to speak in a hoarse and pained voice, white tears falling off of his face.

Light was leaving his body through these white tears, each tear causing Holy slayer to pulse with dissatisfaction, a tremor of power releasing itself through the soul of the young man. "King Diabolus... You are truely a devil. You will regret what you have done. A king like you deserves nothing more then to be beheaded." the cracking of knuckles began to get loud, as holy slayer began to change. It was already in its darkness form, yet now it was surrounded by a dusk color as well, growing larger and heavier, yet seemed easier to hold with one hand by Teran. The beast began to approch the enemy. "You did this to me... I know we should have done something else!"

"My light may fail, but you never realized, I haven't used light a bit since we were here! My powers flourish in darkness! Ahahaaha!" he laughed maniacally as his now white staff with a golden orb was now sucking in large amounts of darkness, but not changing the orbs color at all. "You think you have the advantage here? I may be younger, but I am the MOTHER-FREAKING* KING! My purification uses darkness. As the angels say, 'From darkness will come light!' And luckily for me, we have plenty of darkness. Prepare...to be purified!" Defaeco yelled at Teran, much like a TV evangelist would, as his enemy approached. The hair of Defaeco was turning white, with streaks of gold, and his eyes seemed to be changing into a bright yellow. The armor was brightening and his wings seemed to shine brighter, sparkling like a diamond. It was as if the demons were looking at an angel, with a beauty to much for man. His staff started to glow brightly, especially the tip as e raised it high into the air. "PURGO**!"

The brightness of the purification magic was almost blinding, turning many of the C*** to F*** Class demons below them into a fog that just powered the attack even more. It's large beam was aimed directly at Teran, with a great accuracy towards the chest. Defaeco's eyed remained open, seeing through the bright light watching Teran's movement, ready to fly down toward him at a moments notice.

((*We all know what he really said, and it wasn't freaking.
**This requires no points as it is just him using his purification magic.
***F, E, D, and C are the majority of the demons in areas like this. F is the weakest and SSS is strongest. Most of us understand this system.))

"nothing can purify the darkness that courses through me." Looking down at his feet, they were ripping from the force of the intense pressure. Holding the blade that possessed the purifying content of Teran, it began to glow with the black aura that could only mean death. The jet black heart of the blade no longer held hope, for it was now seeking blood, blood of the pure. "Not even you can purify this." Slamming his weapon on the ground, a few A rank demons began to crawl out of the ground. Smiling, Teran walked casually up to one of them, and began to rip it apart slowly, blood landing over his colorless body, all hues and tones replaced with black. The blood that fell over his body began to fall slowly, the warm elixir a potion of life for the darkness, soaking into his skin and causing him to moan in pleasure, looking up, he chortled with glee, finally slashing in the air, the pure pressure from it sending a blast of light out of his body.

"The act of scathing your bones will satisfy me. I am Teran, the wicked and the sinfull. Redemption is one step to far for me, and now you will feel my sins for a moment, that is your punishment, and that is my final judgement of you." Stopping, Teran lifted his head up to the sun, screaming, his hoarse voice cracking as a dusk colored blood began to crawl out of his throat, while he began to cry more pure tears of pure white, lighter than any armor being worn by Defaeco. "When will I be free? This strain eats at my soul." Finally looking forward, a new deaper voice spoke, and all former hesitation was gone. THe darkness was well focused. A final drop of light landed on the ground, leaving only black. "Now I am ready." Stepping forward, the mans body began to grow heavier, holy slayer pulsing in fear, even the demons could hear the screaming of the sword, its own body trying to rip away. "be quiet..." The creature laughed. The immortal monster thrusting the blade to the side, it instantly stopped, only a tool, it had no influence on this person, this person who was no longer Light.

" Herculean Dusk " The blast of darkness ejected itself with so much intensity, the ground around Teran exploded into darkness, sending even more of a barage of darkness to him. The beast cackled as its echoing voice approached, twisting and turning as its face ripped to the side, fangs coming out of the abyss of a mouth, white tounge hanging off of the deserted face. The massive arms of the creature reached out, as if to try to strangle the enemy. Clenching its fist, the beast lunged forward with darkness, its speed at a inhuman acceleration, the more it ran, the faster it did. It no longer appeared human, its muscles far beyong human capacity, and now at least nine feet tall. A massive set of wings were just the beginning, it now had horns, the size of mountains the reached far beyond the reach of man, gathering all the darkness. In an instant, all the darkness in his body launched outward, sending a spiraling blast of darkness at his foe. The light of his enemy was nothing, his armor was nothing, nothing existed besides the darkness. the consuming hate would take over everything, no hope for survival was a understatement.

"AHAHA!!! DEMON VS. ANGEL EH!?" He yelled, cocking his head to the side and then flying upward to the top of the bit. He did a flip as the blast below shook him in the area, causing him to go off balance. Both of their attacks were big enough to where even if you dodged, you would still be effected. But then as he looked down at the monster, he realized the change in Teran that had taken place. He was becoming gruesome, he wasn't even a demon anymore. He was... a... monster! Rin continued to fly upward through a fear of what could happen. What was below exceeded that of an SSS class demon, and Defaeco knew he couldn't stop him yet. I didn't think I'd have to use this, but I need to escape and focus more... on... training... he thought to himself realizing something that was a great pain. I... am weak... He swung his left arm to his cold white staff, twisting his right hand downward, facing the orb straight towards the center of the pit. He thrusted both arms down, stopped abruptly and brought them back up. A beam of bright light pulsed down incinerating more of the demons.

A beast lay below the pit, hungry for a fight. Hungry for a battle with someone powerful. He was huge, but sitting in a cross legged style position, picking the bones of all the dead humans lying before him. He got them all from a city 50 kilometers directly west of Ethral city. Whilst chewing on the human in his mouth, something disturbed him above, in the measly area of The Pit. Demons were being destroyed every other second, and he even felt an A class get ravaged. "Oooooooooooo, strong one kill others," he idiot beast said to himself. He was only considered an SS class for that matter. All SSS had a human like form, and any demons that could beat that... they weren't really considered demons, more along the lines of Gods. He stood up and held both red, slimy arms up, touching his hands to the ceiling. The ceiling started to crumble above him, bringing survivor demons down below him as he readied to face a new challenge.

Defaeco swung the staff back as the white beam blasted from his staff while he looked around, waiting to see the remains of the demon that ran at him behind the blast he narrowly escaped. His favorite black cape was now in below him, and the form he was in was flowing away into dust. Even his usual red armor was hanging down, staying on like it was a belt. He ran his fingers through his hair and was glad the wings still had a minute left. Something below was happening though, he was sure. The ground was rumbling and... Oh. Hell. An SS class was below. Defaeco flew at the hole leading to the The Underworld. It was a long journey ahead of him, but he had to get out.

"my eyes are open. You were never as strong as I thought. If you want to kill me, then you will need more then that." The beast yawned as he looked around, a demon of massive size was to his side. He glared at it for a moment before looking back to defaeco. Almost instantly, Teran's massive speed propelled him like a rocket. A black mass with white blasts of darkness reached The king, and a gigantic sword thrusted down from the sky. Light and dark began to each focus around the blade, as though fighting for control, having no effect on the blade itself, the black and white began to fight each other as Teran began to scream in intense pleasure. He was waiting for Defaeco to attack with as much vigor and intensity as he was. "defaeco! If you are really that weak! I can give you my light, it is more then you could ever hope to have!" snearing, Teran hoped to taunt the man until pure power exerted itself through the veins of the wicked Monarch. Only inches away from his enemy, his arms reached out to grab him, seeing that his wings were not being used, he fell a few inches short and fell back down to the ground. A large quake spread for miles, only frustrating Teran further.

"deficio animi" Screaming, a bullet launched from his finger tips. As soon as it approached his former friend it exploded into a large black blast began to spread through the air, while Teran stabbed both fists into the ground and another explosion occured under the ground, causing a large mass of darkness to consume all.
