Whoever had the name Xiloscent either changed it or was reduced to numbers in an update, because ~ isn't a character that gaia identifies with, and being the active member, you claimed the username xiloscent.
I can't imagine what would happen if two active users had the same letters only name...

I was Meta Fish for a little while, but I don't think I've ever used the hyphen. I might have, though. I use it for Deviantfart because they don't allow underscores. I'd kind of like to have one unified username, though.
