I am just wondering if anyone here plays the Mario Party series, and if so, what's your fave game of Mario Party, fave character, fave board, or just fave minigame.
I Myself just love to play Mario Party and My fave character to use is Daisy, and my fave game is Mario Party 7. biggrin

 I still prefer the original and kick the most a** at it.
My sister and I fight over who gets to be Yoshi. Still.

Once you've played one Mario Party you've pretty much played them all. I'm sure there some are slightly better than others but you moves you characters around a board and play minigames (rinse & repeat 8 times... jeebus Nintendo you know how to milk it huh?)
I think the Mario Parties are fun to play with other people but I really don't like video games that are at their core just a bunch of minigames loosely tied together.

So far, I've only played 2, 6, and 7. Also 4, but that was in someone else's possession.
So far I like 7, for adding twists to the gameplay on each board. Favorite character would have to be Dry Bones. That Magic Orb has been VERY handy.

I would play it if they weren't so hard to keep up with. I might buy one once in awhile if they didn't come out so often. I only have the first one but I've rented a couple of the others. It's a seriously fun game to play with even just one other friend.

I remember when my niece wanted to play it with me so badly, but then accused me of cheating when I stole a Star from her.
And she and her brother were all ready to ragequit whenever I set them up the bomb with Sparky Stickers/Zap Orbs. Those sapped coins for every step they took, and I had a grand laugh when they got a sizable set of spaces to move and they activate my traps early. rofl

Mario Party 2, Yoshi was my favorite.
I really liked Bumper Balls, Archer-ival, Dungeon Dash, Shell Shocked, Shock Drop or Roll, and Skateboard Scamper

Hehe I've always played Mario Party.. My favorite game would have to be 4 or 7. My character would be... Boo. And I have some minigames that I liked but.... i cant remember the name sweatdrop

Mario Party 2, just for the costumes lol
Mario Party 7 sheer number of games and the ability to have eight players total.

The original, cause it's the only one i've played.
I always picked Yoshi and i loved to play the Slotcar Derby game for some reason.

Party 3 is probably my favorite, but I forget why. xd And I'm usually Luigi. If not, then Wario.

I used to play 7 or 8? What the ******** number are we on? xd
Anyway, I used to always play with my mom. The mic peripheral was awesome. I used to play with my friends too. It's just a blast with friends.
Also, Mario Party was where I derived my favorite number from 3nodding

In 2 and 3 I used DK.
I rotate characters on the gamecube version.
On the newest one I use Hammer Bro. for main game and blooper for minigames.
Also, does anyone know how to beat Mecha Marathon on hard in #2, I'm trying to get the final minigame.

The original. Bobsled Run, Deep Sea Divers, Skateboard Scamper and Bombs Away were some of my favorites.
