If you had an old NES sitting around, would you repurpose it? If so, what would you make it into? I saw somewhere how to make it into a lunchbox...

Yes, actually. I would make it into an NES.

Not that I'd have the know-how to do it, but as we can see here, someone has converted theirs into a DVD player.

I'd rather make it work again. If I just had a shell of one or something I'd probably mod it into a Wii.

Well it's no NES, but my Gamecube stopped working and I couldn't fix it(broken disc reader, don't know how to replace that), so I did this to it...

 It's a Gamebox now! x3

I have an extra Sega Genesis and my cousin's bricked 360 in my closet. No idea what to do with them, though. I really wish I had a bricked GameCube so I could turn it into a lunchbox or a desk organizer or something. I've taken apart my working GameCube, and it would be extremely easy to hollow out and repurpose.
I dunno, I guess to me the GameCube feels new enough and plentiful enough to repurpose. I couldn't see doing it to an NES.
Edit: Wow, Scruffy, I see that you beat me both to posting and to hollowing out a GameCube.

Someone once built a computer inside a NES shell. o_o' I don't know how to screw with things like that, so I'd probably just play it, if I had one... sweatdrop

If I had an empty shell of an NES, I'd probably either find out how to mod it into a DVD player or something, or fill it with rocks and sell it to the local dumbass.

Make the controller into a mobile phone or iPod casing? A NES MP3 player would be sweet.

...if I had an extra laying about that was beyond repair or jury rigging. I would possibly reuse it on something awesome, too sleepy at the moment to think of what but I would xD
