I always hear that I'm a sinner and I must ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness. We need to go through him, because we are too unclean to talk to God directly. Everyone is a sinner because they are not perfect. God loves the sinner, but hates the sin. And yada yada yada.

I feel like I hear this over and over and over again. I'm so glad I'm not brainwashed by this crap.

This is why I quit going. The songs especially suck.

I always thought of Jesus as the cool brother that introduced his little brother to the cool kids.

You have to admit that if you were god that might sound like a good idea.

The singing sounds like chanting. They sound more like Satanists than Satanists do, lol. I always found that somewhat ironic.

Jesus is the older brother that took credit for the stuff God did, than made up for it by introducing God to the cool kids.

Wat country is that?

Australia, though Sydney is the most conservative Anglican diocese on the planet, but no one really pays attention to that. The view of most people here is a kind of passive christianity. Yeah, they believe and all that, but the churches are empty, all week long, religion has little place in politics (there was a massive explosion over the fact that one member of the local conservative party is a devout Catholic.

"Does God exist? Yeah, now pass me a beer."
That could be taken as the national view on religion.

Not saying I like this place, but it has its upsides, like everywhere else.

Australia sounds like a nice place because of the passiveness. Like I'm agnostic atheist, but I'm not vocal about it. If someone ask, then I will tell them, but I go on my business.

Hey, in my 5th period I also learned that...
In 2nd period I learned that communism is synonymous with fascism
