http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP-ugoF-wwwWho here misses Toonami? Sometimes I wonder what I miss most, being able to watch awesome anime, or the cool videos and commercials Toonami made. Cartoon Network got rid of their weekday Toonami block just so they could show S$#t like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and other shows like Ed, Edd n Eddy and KND Then they made it where you could only see it once a week and kept canceling animes just when you got into them. Then they canceled Toonami before I even Got to see the remaining episodes of Naruto. Disney Now shows Naruto Shippuden! How the F could Cartoon Network be so stupid as to get rid of such a wonderful thing as Toonami? or worse, let the goody goody Disney company who edited out violence in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (and made multiple needless spin offs) get their hands on a show like Naruto Shippuden!!?!?! Well the thing with Naruto really WAS stupid since it's the biggest thing to hit TV since Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon! rolleyes
I don't mind some of the new programming, but really most of what they produced wasn't as cool as the Anime they replaced. I think they should be learning from the Anime and using it to create awesome stuff like Teen Titans...which they just let die for some mysterious reason! gonk
It IS a real shame that they only have it for maybe one night, and it's pretty late night. I wish that they would have either used the Anime to inspire them to a greater form of American Animation like Avatar @.@

I wish that they would have either used the Anime to inspire them to a greater form of American Animation like Avatar @.@ Speaking of Pokémon, they recently revealed a silhouette of a new Pokémon for the 5th Generation. They could at least try to bring back a mid-day anime airing block. I mean from 5-7pm would be the perfect spot, it wouldn't even have to be all anime. They could put Ben 10 on there, Star Wars Clone wars anything that the average person would love to come home to. What few animes they do show though are on saturdays or when most kids are to busy getting ready for school, or are unlucky to already be on the bus or at school to watch. Its also mostly kids stuff that tries to compete with Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh in terms of merchandising. Is it too much to ask they put some classics on? I mean my little cousin doesn't know who Sailor moon is, only Dora, Deiago, Wubzy and Max/Ruby. It just I feel like my Child Hood was raped with the lose of Toonami. Its bad enough Disney bought Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and all things Power Rangers, added tons of needless spin-off and to add insult to injury cut violence and added Batman Onomatopoeia's. Now I know Damn well the original Power Rangers didn't have BFFFF, POW, ZOOM! pop up when they smacked a bad guy. What kills me is Disney will cut the violence from Power Rangers, but buy Naruto. Cartoon Network doesn't seem all that worried about violence, on Star Wars they kill people all the time. Yesterday I watched Anikin impale a guy who was daring anyone to kill him. (post #36)

Let's not forget the fact that they replace Ruruni Kenshin with Bakugan. BAKUGAN!
I just wonder what is wrong with Cartoon Network. They are going to go bankrupt if they keep doing all of these things.
That new pokemon silhouette from the 5th Generation makes it look as if a Ninetails and a Shiftry decided to mate. xD

I swear if I got a job there, the first thing I would do is tell them what real people think, and not some middle age AHOLE with a crush on their boss' genitals enjoying riding them as well as kissing major a**. I've come across some nice art of what it might look like. I suspect it is either the new rare/legendary or one of the starters. Apparently its going have a staring role in the next movie Phantom Z or something like that. http://pequedark-velvet.deviantart.com/art/HERE-IS-THE-WOLF-XD-153211331 http://shinyscyther.deviantart.com/art/New-pokemon-Z-my-version-153201867 (post #38 )

wow, those are good artworks. But, I think it will be a dark type, so I would with more wolf-looking one.
Man, am I frustrated right now. I'm doing paperwork for the regional of Science Fair. stressed

Yeah, we do, the only bad part is that our voices aren't really heard. But, we could probably send a letter to Cartoon Network or something. xDDDD

But, we could probably send a letter to Cartoon Network or something. xDDDD I actually did write in a very nice letter, telling them how disappointing the recent changes have been. I didn't cuss, mistype, or verbally abuse...I stated in a calm manner how I wished they would put something on air that I would actually watch, citing examples from their own past lineup. I also mentioned the fact that adult swim seems to be actively trying to lose it's old core audience with inflammatory comments on those placards that pop up between shows. I actually saw a few of them that told anime fans to piss off. Afterwords I included contact info and invited them to respond as they saw fit...they never said anything. I just hope they didn't hand it over to the adult swim folks, they like mocking the anime community too much to take my letter seriously -_- #65

Which is totally stupid considering just how many numbers we have! We turned it from MAYBE finding 1 bookcase in a major bookstore, to having several bookcases, AND a good chunk of Anime! I think whoever is in charge now has turned it's back on the roots of all that awesome Anime. Totally lame.
Also it wasn't until I watched that video that I realized just how sad it was to see it close down...

Watch Tom's Farewell. They had drastically changed the animation style by then, so you may not recognize tom at first...but it really was kinda sad to see that block of animation that I enjoyed after school go away after it introduced me to shows like Outlaw Star and Big O. #73

Ayanami Rei First Child I think it went down hill when they changed his look to something less cool looking gonk Yeah, I liked it when he was in space and a cool looking robot. At least Adult Swim picked Big O up again, but I think its S**ty how they treat anime fans too. I mean half of the crap they put on like the tim and eric show are far more stupid then anime I have ever seen, and that includes some of the stuff Sci-fi ha put on their Animonday (i don't know the name of the show, but it was weird) I swear, if i ever get a job at CN i would make sure the anime fan's voice was heard. TO BE A FAN YOU MUST HAVE HONOR, HONOR AND A WENIS!!! AND I SWEAR TO GOD WHO EVER PUT FLAP JACK ON NEEDS THEIR BALLS RIPED OFF!!!(post #60)
