The Rise of the Machines

The year is 2179. About 120 years ago, the world was introduced to a new type of servant drone known as the Mech 9. The Mechs were fitted with chemically created skin, with artificial hair, blood, etc. to make them seem like normal Furs and to add a more realistic feel. However, one Mech, known as Zentra, used this realism so she could infiltrate the United States government, soon finding the device she had been looking for-the Neoflex. This device was an off switch for all the Mechs, but after she tampered with it, Zentra used it to control the Mechs. However, it only affected those with a Protochip V12. Zentra didn't know that there were, however, other Mechs who relied on the server chip Mega Chip V7. These few Mechs remained loyal to the citizens, but they were easily ushed aside by the Protos. Most of the peope of the world were killed, but some remain scattered acroos the world in small factions.

Affiliation: ..Evil?
History: For about the first one hundred years of his mock life,
Seamus watched furs drawing both
their first breath and exhaling their last. Of course, without being
a fully sentient being, he never really appreciated
the philosophy of life, and once the uprising began, he
had even less interest for the life and death of man.
He merely knew what he was "created" to do:
Eradicate all life.

The stench of decay surrounded the ruins of a once bustling city. Some buildings now lie in ruins, and others are as pristine as the day they were built. Though, one thing was comparatively the same about them all. They had been "cleared out." That's the terminology that Seamus liked to use. It could almost convince one that he kept a certain censorship about his work, but to believe that, one had to believe that he had feelings. Of course, Seamus had no compassion, just like how he had no senses with which to take in the reeking odor of rotting or burning flesh. The ocelot stood alone, hands in his pockets, overlooking a still city street from atop a pile of rubble. He tapped a finger on his ear, and muttered, "34th and Hoover.. Cleared out."

Affiliation:Good. Just scared.
History: Hayden is a mech, fur fusion. He has organs, grown in a factory and enhanced and a mech skeleton and thought processor inside his brain. He is a failed prototype, due to having free will. He is on the run, unaware of who he is due to a blank new memory bank.

Hayden was roaming around what used to be Washington D.C. Unable to remember who he is. All he had was a name he had always known. Hayden Clincy.

Name: Joshua Khallen
Age/Date of Construction: 2160 (Aged 19) (Half Prostesis since 2172)
Species/Model: Opossum/Cyborg(Half prostesis body equipped with Mega Chip V7)
Affiliation: Good/Fur
History: He's been living in hiding with the remaining furs for what has been his life, running and finding shelter. Successful up until his run-in with the Protos. He was found shortly after his assault, lucky to be alive in his mangled state. Having to have two new legs and an arm in place of the ones he lost, he had to learn with his only half prostesis. While not as abled as those who had the luxury of going full prostesis, his determination makes up for it. While of good cause, he seeks revenge on the one who forced this heinous genocide and will handle those who get in his way.

Joshua was scoping out, with a small group of people looking for survivors in ruins, and maybe supplies and sustenance for those in hiding. He found himself atop a hill with a steep drop overlooking a city in ruin. He knelt down and with his advanced headpiece, zooming in to get a better look.

Hayden looked up and saw someone on top of a hill. He tried to hide thinking it was another evil machine.

Seamus's eyes surveyed the street for a moment longer, a dull clicking sound coming from somewhere in his head. "Hm." The ocelot leaped down from the decrepit ruins and began to walk down the street, his tail swishing rapidly behind him.

"Damn." Hayden said as he saw the figure walking. He tried hiding behind an old car that was basically an emptied out chassis.

Seamus stopped dead in his tracks and looked up at the sky. After a short pause he turned back the way he had came to take a second look. As he slowly glanced around the street corner, he tapped his finger to his ear and muttered, "Scanning for organic life.. Negative. Scanning for synthetic-organic life... Confirmed."

Hayden muttered to himself. "Sh*t. I'm spotted." He decided to just run for it. He was pretty fast and could outrun a machine any day, but never tried fighting them.

The ocelot trotted forward into the intersection, staring at the car which the fur was hidden behind. Sensing movement, he called out, "Stay where you are!"

Joshua leveled to the hill, watching two figures move apart and finally near eachother. The scanner in his headpiece was too far out of range to determine anything about the two, but he assumed they were mechs, judging by the destruction. He also made the deduction through their mannerisms who was of ill intent. "This doesn't look good." Joshua said under his breath.

Hayden stopped for an unknown reason. His joints just wouldn't move.

Joshua's eyes widened as he saw the other mech freeze. He gripped the scarce grass and dirt, caught between the decision to either save the mech or let things take their course. He decided to change position, motioning back the caps for the index and middle digits of his cybernetic hand, exposing the high intensity LEDs. His headpiece took the place of a must needed reticle, aiming for the other mech's eyes before trying to emit a strong discharge of ultraviolet light in an attempt to blind the mech.

Hayden tried moving but suddenly at the thought of it a HUD appeared in his vision.
