It'd be easier if you could just tell us where you placed the EVs instead of giving us the stats, but I can see why both would be considered.

Why do you have two stealth rock users? Wouldn't one suffice?

An two Stone Edges, and three Grounds. I'm not sure if he's trying to cover his bases (and failed) or make a Ground-themed team. And yes, give us the EV spreads, not the stats

Keep Aero if you want a suicide lead, and ditch Swampert and Flygon. Or put Swampert up as a bulky lead and ditch Aero and Flygon. Right now, a Kingdra could probably ruin your s**t.

I agree with ditching Swampert.

I tend to like Flygon better, so I disagree with Tippy (though her advice is probably good and competitive).
Flygon can be quite an annoyance, as long as it doesn't get hit with an ice beam.

I usually use Pokemon Marriland's team builder to see where I am lacking in type coverage...

It only gores by the pokemon though, and not their moves.

EVs are really important to remember... I hate to be "that guy", but I would suggest starting over if you don't even remember where you placed the EVs. Maybe play on Shoddy for a little bit? And experiment?

I have to agree with this. You don't have to remember the exact spread at a moment's notice, but you should know the gist of it. Or write it down, if you think you can't even do that (I have a little pocket-sized notebook that I have all of my com.bat business written down in, from EV spreads to movesets to a list of which Pokémon give three EVs in which stats). Remembering where your EVs are helps a LOT, because well, how are you going to know what that Pokémon's niche is if you can't remember what you trained it for?

No offense, or anything.

@Shippo: Haha, not saying Flygon sucks or anything. I just couldn't remember off the top of my head a good niche for it.

Then you should be able to recall the general gist of the EV spreads. neutral

Look, if you don't remember what you EV trained in what, then don't say they're EV trained.

Pretty much this. neutral
Do you plan to use this team for a tournament? Among friends? Online battles?
PostPosted: Fri Apr 02, 2010 8:38 pm
im looking for a tourney or something... but i just want to get my team good enough to take out a guys team... vaporeon, mamoswine, dragonite, sceptile, heatran, and an ever changing lead... usually its smeargle, but he switches it whenever he battles me... jirachi, or swampert...

EDIT: just updated the original post. tell me what you think...

I think three stealth rock users is overkill. Have you tested this team at all?

For Typhlosion, Fire Blast > Heatwave.

Like I said earlier, use this to see the holes in your team:
