THE C.O.R.E

A nuclear plant, the only one left, explodes in a future time, causing an 'infection' of many. Some of the infected died within two weeks. But most lived, with a curse. A mark is permanently branded on the infected, giving them powers, or in rare cases, not. The only government power creates The C.O.R.E. The C.O.R.E is a facility where those who were infected, powers or not, are sent to eliminate themselves. Some want out to destroy the planet, but others want to stay and protect the people who once shunned them from the evils in The C.O.R.E. A maze of realistic mountains, hills, ice caps, volcanoes and plains, it is the ultimate battle ground and home. You are one of the marked, and are stuck in The C.O.R.E. Choose your side, and power, and fight to get out, or keep the forces of evil in.

Blaze woke up in the middle of a field, with lush green wild flowers. In a panic he jumped to his feet, remembering he was last in the city. He panicked even more and yelled "HELLO! IS ANY BODY OUT THERE!" over and over. realizing no one was in this field he started walking. Hoping and praying he would meet some one here.

Coleburn woke up in a desolate and burned land. In fact he liked it here. He felt comfy and fell back asleep.

Alli sat up, looking around. Well... She wasn't actually looking, more like she was feeling with her aura. "Verge....?" She asked tentatively. Her brother wasn't there. Following instincts, she stood up, and started moving towards the closest source of life she could feel.

Verge was awake as well, in a forest near a large field. He felt horrible, and once more couldn't find his sister in the nearby area. Thinking on his feet, he changed to a wolf, sniffing the air.

In a flash Cole was awake. He felt some one nearby, and he was thinking of having some fun with this person. Getting up he focused and lifted himself in the air he saw a forest nearby and felt the presence was there to. He lowered and floated into the dense trees. Seeing the someone turn into a wolf was extraordinary. So he levitated himself in front of the wolf and smirked.

Blaze had been walking for quite some time now when he saw someone waking up. He ran over to see if they knew where he was.

The wolf snarled, bristling as he stareds at this stranger. "Who are you.... And what do you want...?" he asked, Verge's voice sounding feral and animal like. He didn't like the looks of this at all.

Alli froze, looking in the direction of this new aura... not Verge. The person didn't have a bad aura, but she didn't trust anything at the moment. "W-Who.... are you....?" She asked, her voice trembling a little.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! I am the master of fear and pain...." Hmmmm. Coleburn doesn't sound menacing enough. I know. "I am Phantom." He circled the wolf a couple of time before stopping in front of him again. "Are you scared?"

Blaze saw that the person was scared and he saw the mark that people like him have. "My name is Blaze, and I am like you. Do you know where we are?" He asked looking closer at the girl. He noticed she had a very strange eye color but didn't want to stare.

Verge sat back on his haunches, watching the other with a cynical stare. "Hardly..... You as you are doesn't inspire the tiniest whisper...." Verge shook his head, padding off in the direction of a familiar smell. "I don't have time for people like you, Phantom..."

Alli relaxed a little, the person not as dangerous as she first thought. "I'm... Alli. No... I don't know where we are... Nothing feels familiar." Though she was facing his direction, it was almost like she wasn't focusing on him. "I hope Vergil is alright....." She said, mostly to herself.

Emily woke up, in the middle of some forest. Twigs where stuck in her thick hair. 'Hello?" she asked holding her head, which was throbbing. Slowly she stood hoping to find someone. Soft strands of light filtered through the dense forest leaves. She reached out and ran her finger through it. It felt strangely solid beneath her fingers. Ignoring it she kept walking and again called out, "Hello!?" Her voice sounded slightly panicked.

Emily kept walking until she spotted a girl and a guy standing there. "Hello?" she called out, hoping they weren't gonna turn around and like eat her. "Hey." she said as she got closer hoping to get their attention.

Alli looked quickly over to where the new sound had come from, jumpy as another person showed up. "...." She was silent, angled so that she was looking at neither of them, and instead listening, as well as feeling with her aura.

Emily looked down at her feet. "Does anyone know where we are?" she asked quietly in the awkward silence.

Alli shook her head as answer, becmoning more restless by the minute. She had to find him... She had to find Verge. In a spur of the moment kind of thing, she turned, closing her eyes and letting her aura pulse outwards. More than likely, the others could probably feel it.

Fang woke up from his horrible recurring nightmare of a werewolf killing two officers. He fell out of the tree and landed on the ground. He got up and turned towards the only source of light.

Emily stood frozen as a strange sensation washed over her body. It made her feel tingly and it bothered her. She felt like saying something but stopped, still in too much shock to comprehend what was happening.
