Have you ever heard of STEEL DRUMS AKA PANS?!?! well if you havent u should check it out its really awesome... I play the Steel Drums in the Steel Ambassadors at my school... We are one of the only Steel Band advanced programs in Central Texas WOOHOO!!! I play the Cello along with 2 other guys nd there are 15 of us that play Lead, Bass, Double Second, and Double Tenor and Cello of course... Our last concert we had, Day of Pan, is on youtube so you should go check it out it's really cool...

LOL Yeah, I don't play Steel Pans, but I have friends who do. My University has a Steel Band. I love the sound of it though it's so captivating. I tried a few times, wasn't bad at it, and it's easy to learn the notes....it's just that I don't have pans of my own to practice.
