i have just hooked up my laptop to my xbox so that i could go online ;D. Now i can play mw2 against yall ;DDDD

You MUST tell me how you have done this! I'm trying to figure out how to hook up my PS3 to my laptop. Hopefully it's the same general idea. *Sits and eagerly awaits explanation* biggrin

Using a PC you just have to plug in your ethernet cable in both, the xbox and the laptop and choose to share the connection from your laptop. Using a mac is way harder...

Oh...y'all are doin it for internet connection. Nevermind then. I'm trying to hook it up to use my laptop screen as a TV to play the game on.

Of course. I have Mac. do you have xbox 360 or ps3? She has a 360. And I'm sure she can do it for a Mac. They wouldn't overlook a networking detail like connectivity sharing.

I tried to do this one time but when I connected an ethernet cord between my Xbox 360 and my laptop, I lost Wi-Fi on my laptop since an ethernet cord was plugged in. I thought it would work but it failed.
