I will admit to using sex to get traffic. They're all covered, so don't get too excited. And quite honestly, as anatomically correct dryads go, there aren't any tree or human reproductive parts visible.

Ivyleen, and Ivy Dryad...

Elmily, an Elm Dryad...

If anyone has more punny dryad names, I'll happily include them in the series. Maybe Maeple, or Lynnden or Ginnyko. And the lameness continues...

They dont violate TOS if I recall correctly. They are art that isnt pornographic in nature and isnt explicitly meant to offend. They are simply a person's art. Though the title should be edited a bit, not to say spamming. I would do it but I feel the original creator of the thread should do so.

Gaia Rules and Guidelines allows for nudity to a degree, and since these are covered up they don't go to far. I like them, Scarlet, it looks to me like you are a very good artist.

"Mature material: Any material that is sexually explicit or pornographic, or depicts excessive violence or gore is not permitted. Tasteful nudity in the art forums is allowed on a case-by-case basis, but on the whole, it is a good idea to cater to a range of audiences. Keep in mind that some members may be as young as 13." A picture of a Greek statue would probably be allowed and they often portray a lack of clothing. This rule is from the Rules and Guidelines which you can look up by scrolling to the bottom of any page on Gaia. ToS, from what I could see, does not cover art and/or nudity.

The only reason I used the word "spamming" is because sometimes I feel like I post stuff that never gets read.

And there is no actual genitalia being shown. Honestly, there is only marginally more skin revealed than would be with a bikini. The reason I didn't dress them up was because it's incredibly difficult to come up with organic clothing for dryads. ^_^

But I'm so glad this post got a response! **Happy dance!**

Shudder. "Why did I click here again..Oh you could try vines or falling leafs.."

Ura, don't tell me you're scared of a little hourglass figure. (I'm totally teasing. Just ignore me.)

Vines and falling leaves are...I don't know...obvious? I know, covering the bits with crossed legs and arms is also obvious, but it's a little more natural, I guess. Every woman covers herself like that. Not so much with the leaves and vines. sweatdrop

Besides this style being more naturally done, vines/leaves are commonly used by other artists doing dryads and it's good to see some variety. Having every artist do things the same way kind of spoils the fun in viewing the artwork, it becomes redundant.

Thank you...I think. ^_^

Besides, with Ivyleen turned to the side, there's nothing for the vines to cover. And Elmily doesn't have any leaves at all in her hair. (It's winter for her, I guess. razz )

I think my last post was more complimentary than insulting, but if not I didn't mean for it to be insulting. It was simply an observation. I've seen allot of dryad pictures since I enjoy looking at fantasy artwork and I've noticed having either leaves, vines, other natural things for cover or no cover of any kind at all are the most common dryad styles. This style I see less frequently, these two pictures you provided being among the first, and so I enjoyed seeing them a little more.

Ah, I see. The way you said it at first, I wasn't sure if I was doing it right. razz So Thank you again! ^_^
