Everybody keeps comparing it to one piece, but it reminds me more of an old show called rave master on cartoon network. I didn;t have cable at the time so I only saw a few episodes. I wasn't impressed, but this looks to be better.

It does feel kinda like Rave Master, but the One Piece comparisons come from the manga, more than the anime.

Same mangaka as Rave, and he was probably an assistant of the One Piece mangaka, they tend to keep similar styles.
Yeah it's pretty good, but the latest arc isn't all that great.
