Book suggestions?

Alright, so lately I've been devouring books. I've read like 7 in the last two weeks. : O
So, are there any really good books out there? I prefer the book types horror, thriller, and Sci-Fi. Of course, a little added humor in the book wouldn't be too bad. Here is a list of books I really liked:

The Host by Stephanie Meyers. If you like the Twilight series, read it. If you don't, still read it. It has no vampires or werewolves, it's about aliens, literal body-stealers. Things go haywire and its somewhat sci-fi and a thriller, a pretty lengthy book, but worth every page of it.

I always find myself suggesting this series; The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson.


Basically, it's Sci-Fi (like you wanted) and funny (very much so).

It's about a group medically altered childern. They were handed over to a group of mad scientists when they were babies and had their DNA altered. Now, they are 98% human and 2% avain. The books are about their struggles to survive in a normal society. They're constantly sought out to be used for evil intentions (normally world-demoniation, or some type of power). James Patterson is a wonderful author. I really think you'd like it. ^_^

Warriors by Erin Hunter!!
It is about a cat named Rusty who discovers the Cats of the Clans. He is welcomed into their life and realizes it is different than living in a house with humans(in the book known as twolegs).

Yes, actually, I forgot to mention that series. I've read quite a few of the Alex Rider books, and I do enjoy them. =]

Book of Story Beginnings-the title describes it all Flames of the Tiger-its a war book World War 2 its really deep and sad Perfect Chemistry- its a GREAT book a Mexican form the south side and a white girl form the north side they arent suposed to mix it has a lot of twist and turns The Thirteenth Child- a girl who everyone is afraid of and doesnt have really ant friends A Kiss in Time-Sleeping Beauty with a twist goes into the real world. those are REALLY Good
