The Bravenheart Dojo (Medic Nin and Genjutsu Training)

South of the mist forest, where the mist is less full and the sun shines through, an empty plain surronded by caes sits. The plain has many different paths, and is filled with plants and flowers as well as herbs. A small ancient style dojo sits on the edge, and you can hear a nearby waterfall as a river runs through the east side of the plane. This is a special placed for Medical ninja to train, and the dojo was built by the Bravenheart family.

Hya was entering the home, he realy like what she did with it."Luna are you home?" He didnt know if she was still training the other medics, or if she was home.

Luna continued to jump through the forest, not answering the girls questions. The white wolf Kira followed close behind them, and howled up to the eagle "Quiet Kira, he's with us." The wolf snarled and they kept moving. When they reached a cliff Luna jumped up to it and followed the river until they reached a wide open plain, somewhat away from the mist. It was sunnier here, caves surronding the area, and a large field filled with flowers and plants. Dummies were set up nearby, and a small dojo was set on the edge of the plain. Kira stopped next to Luna and Rini as they reached the Dojo and Luna put Rini down on the ground, and the eagle circled above.

Rini stepped away from her sensei once her feet were back on the ground and gazed around. "Wow," she breathed. "It's beautiful, sensei . . . really -- peaceful." She moved closer to one of the gardens, staring at the various flowers and herbs in wonder.

The genin gasped slightly and crouched down, reaching out to delicately touch the leaves of one plant in particular. "This is sealroot! I've only ever read about it in books. It's roots can be crushed into a poultice for treating bruises, cuts, sores, and other skin irritations, like poison ivy. I didn't know it grew in this area . . ." Rini lifted her gaze from the plant to stare around the area in awe. "This place is . . . a medic's dream! All the herbs and-and did you plant them all yourself, sensei?"

She turned her wonder-filled eyes to Luna, a look of almost pure delight on her face. "This is -- just --" Her attention shifted back to their surroundings, at a loss for words. "Wow."

The eagle swooped down from above them to land on a tree, adjusting his wings against his sides and watching the pair of kunoichi closely -- Rini in particular. The girl did not seem to notice its scrutiny, however, as her excited exploration of the garden took her closer to the dojo.

Luna looked at Rini and laughed "Of course I didnt plant these myself, this is a cultivation of medic clans coming together over the generations, Im just a tiny dot in the history of the Bravenhearts. You can keep exploring if you want," she took Rini's bag "Im going to put our stuff in the rooms and then we can get startted, just dont go to far, stay close to the dojo." Her and Kira walked towards the dojo.

Hya was entering the home, he realy like what she did with it."Luna are you home?" He didnt know if she was still training the other medics, or if she was home.

Luna walked into the dojo, while the wolf sat under a cherry blossom tree in the shade. She saw Hya walking around as she entered, and surprised, said "Hey Hya, whats up." She dropped the bags on the floor and walked in the kitchen to make some tea, she wasnt expecting guests here.

((This will probably be my last post until next Sunday, Im leaving for tenesee and I will not have my laptop, happy fourth of July to everyone.))

Hya followed her ot the kitchen. He was parched, so he would defently would like some tea."If you would nt mind i have a question for you. And i would love some Green Tea, no sugar. It would help with my thirst. When you are done with the tea i need to ask you an important question." Hya then looked aorund the garden. He then seen Rini."Rini, how are you doing?" He was happy to see all of his old allies.

"Of course, I wouldnt mind answering a question." Luna made three cups of tea, two with special oxidents and a secret ingredient for the brain for Luna and Rini in their training and a green tea no sugar for Hya. When the tea was done Luna brought the tea out to the table and sat it down finding Hya at the entrance. "So, what was it you wanted to ask Hya-chan?"

Luna blushed a bit from the compliment "I-I would be glad to teach you chakra thread. But I have to help Rini first, I brought her her for intensive training" she handed him his tea "but as soon as we get a break I can teach you."

((Im going to be away fro a week but Ill be on as soon as I get back))

Rini flushed at her teacher's rather obvious reply. "Oh, yes. Right. Of course." Still, her embarrassment did not last long -- replaced by her eager curiosity. Smiling widely, the girl explored the garden, taking notes on all the various herbs she found. Every now and then, she cast a glance toward the dojo -- waiting for her sensei to call her back and hoping that the dojo had a library of sorts so that she could learn more about the plants she was finding.

A faint hiss broke Rini from her musings, and she froze. Lowering her gaze, Rini caught her breath as she discovered a rather large snake in her path. Where had that come from? She started to take a slow step away from the snake, but it coiled tighter and with a sinking feeling, Rini realized that she was well within the snake's striking distance. "Sensei . . . ?" she said shakily, voice barely above a whisper.

The snake struck, but a larger shape hit it's mark first. Talons sank into scales as the golden eagle snatched the serpent from mid-air. Rini stumbled back in alarm as the creatures tussled, watching with wide eyes. Finally, the snake fell still and the eagle disentangled itself from the coils. It blinked fierce golden eyes at Rini, and the girl swallowed. "Th-thank you . . ."

With a shriek, the eagle took off, sweeping away with its catch. Trembling slightly, Rini sank to her knees and put a hand over her heart. That had been close!

"Fear not what cannot harm you. I think you could have taken that snake head on. next time, take a fighting stance, and make a clone. Distract and attack. It may be wuick, but not when it is hcasing two people at once. Plus, cover you scent, snakes smell using their tounge, in which they taste the air." Hya seen Rini in the garden.

Rini looked down, feeling somewhat ashamed. He was right, of course. She had frozen, and if it had not been for the eagle, she probably would have been bitten -- or worse. The girl mulled over his suggestions. The clone idea would not have worked. Rini was not able to make corporeal clones yet, and thus they -- with no scent and making no vibrations on the ground -- would have had no effect on the snake. Covering her scent might have worked, but she had nothing with which to do so.

The genin lifted her gaze to the tree in which the eagle had taken roost with its catch. With widening eyes, Rini realized that the eagle was the very same one she had healed -- or tried to. Had it followed them here? Why? Her eyes dropped to the dead snake -- which the golden eagle was now eating -- and she shuddered.

Suddenly, Rini was very suspicious of every shadow beneath every bush. She quickly got to her feet and hurried to the dojo to join her teachers -- both old and new. The girl paused briefly in the entryway to remove her shoes, dropping her pack in a small nook before moving to the kitchen. She gave Hya a small smile. "Hello, Hya-sensei," Rini greeted him.

As Rini entered the dojo Luna was just finishing her tea and looked from Hya to Rini "Now that everyone is here, let's begin." Luna took Rini's hand and brought her outside onto the side porch with a small river and a table that a few items on it. "First, we will be concentrating on chakra control, partcularly your medic chakra."

"A word of caution, if duty calls, i must leave, but i will stay here for now. I will keep an eye out for things. Rini, the clone would be the one to attack. The snake would be so fixated on you, that it would not have picked up your clones presence. Next time, practice your melee and diversion. But for now stick to your teachings!" Hya was proud of a great growing shinobi. It brought memories of teaching her back at the acadamy.
