 At a somewhat more secluded area of the town stands the most famous building in the entire town. The library. It was built long ago, and they've been keeping up with making sure that it doesn't fall apart but keeping the same look to it. The library is the oldest building in the state to still be standing tall, and looking beautifully. It holds over a million books of all different things. You can only get a library card if you have papers proving that you live in the town. If you do not live in the town, you're welcome to look at the books there, but not allowed to take them out.  Far off to the right of the building is a room (above) only allowed for adults that are 21 and up. Not only is it a room where they trust you enough to drink and eat quietly in there, but it's a place to get away from all the younger children so you can study or read in peace. The room walls are sound proof along with the door, which is normally closed.

"Your castle awaits you girls!" Standing right in front of the library yard, he held out his hands. "The magnificent beast!" Turning to look at the two girls he smiled, "What do you think of her?"
"It's gorgeous!" If you were to look at Phoebes eyes it would show she was much more excited than she was letting on. She loved libraries, all the things you could learn. It was pretty much a building where you can leave smarter than you had come. She had pretty much learned everything from there, math, English, so on and so forth. Being a vampire it wasn't like she could go to school without someone realizing something, so she had to self teach herself everything, and the libraries were always a welcoming home.

Meggie smiled at Phoebe's excitement which brought her mood back up. "It's like a castle! It's so magnificent! Imagine like a billion years ago princes rescuing princesses from here! Gosh, how romantic!" Phoebe might be into the learning idea of this but Meggie was into the fantasy aspect of it. Running up head, she felt the excitement as she imagined beautiful girls in long flowing dresses on balconies waiting for there princes. She felt a slight breeze pass through the room, and realized she's better calm down before she accidently evokes a tornado and destroys this beautiful place.

Josh watched as the excited Meggie ran into the castle her mind day dreaming higher than the clouds. Shaking his head, he did add, "It was used with royal families." No princesses lived there, and no princes came to save them from some awful monster, but royal families did actually used to own the library.
Following not to far behind from Josh, who was following not to far behind from Meggie. She realized Josh didn't much mind them, and it HAD to be obvious what school they were from. Weird. She heard the locals hated the kids who went to that school. Shaking the thought off for a while, she began to look around eyes glittering with excitement. "Look at all the books!"
"Over a million." They were now caught up with Meggie. "This way, I'll show you the door that you're not allowed to go into until you're 21." He sighed, "I guess it's only fair that the adults get a silent place to themselves.."

Zoey snuck by the people, wearing a black hoodie and jeans, even though it was burning up outside. She ran up a hidden stairway, to the top room. Once there, she used a spell to get inside, and grabbed a book. "My secret place." She said quietly to herself.

Meggie flitted back to Josh and Phoebe. Going into the "Adults only" section brought back the old days, when she hung out with the "bad" kids, her adrenaline was always high when she was with those guys. Sighing and realizing she was a couple steps behind them she swiftly moved up to being instep with the duo. "21 and up, huh? Way to try and get us in trouble on the first day." She said smirking at Josh.

Josh laughed, "Oh, you'll only get into trouble if you go INTO the room. I can show you the door at least. And if it accidentally opens, then it's not like we're entering the room either. Though, hopefully no adults will be in there. They'll give us one of those death glares you saw Lola give me today." He smiled.
Phoebe couldn't help but feel excited too, then she stopped. "Technically I'm old enough to go in there." Quickly she closed her mouth. She only told Meggie what she was, but Josh wouldn't have a clue.
"Oh yeah, how old are you?" He laughed, "I highly doubt your a day over 18."

Zoey returned down the stairs, grabbing a library book, and heading out the door. She passed Josh, Phoebe, and Meggie on her way. She waved, but kept walking.

Uh-oh! Phoebe slipped up! I hope Josh doesn't flip! Meggie didn't know what to do, so she did what any normal teenager did she blurted out the first thing that came to her mind. "She's a Vampire and I'm a Witch and we go to the Shadow School" snapping her hands over her mouth. She noticed Zoey walk by and wave. Oh how I wish I could be her! Oblivious to the problems that could have just happened. Looking between Phoebe and Josh for answers she was worried about the next move. Would she lose her new found friends?

Watching as the other chick ran by, Phoebe waved nervously. But she couldn't help but facepalm herself. 'Nice going Meggie.'
Josh looked at the two of them after he too waved at Zoey. "Ooh. A witch and a vampire. Perfect friends.. But.. Where's your wart, and why aren't you going into flames.. Or do you sparkle like those vampires do in that new vampire chick flick going around." He teased.
Phoebe stared at him to shocked to say anything.

Meggie's mouth hung open. She was stone cold shocked. "What? You mean your not going to run away screaming? What? Did I miss something somewhere? And we all don't have warts you know." She needed to at least try and add some fun to this insanely confusing mood.

"Aww, don't worry your pretty little faces about it." He nudged the both of them with his elbows, as he was standing in between the two of them. "Look, my step brother goes over to that school. So no big. Plus Lola's parents used to work there." Beginning to walk again, they could see the big doors at the end of the hallway.
Smiling, she had to add too. "I've got special lotion to help me not burn. I don't go into flames or sparkle. It's as if.. Boiling water is being poured onto my skin. But as long as I'm covered. I'm good."

"Lysander, I'd describe him to you.. But." Then he stopped, they would believe him, them being.. Them. "I think it would just be best you guys meet him face to face. I'm sure he's around here somewhere." Now they were standing in front of the adult doors. Clearing his throat, he casually walked a little bit away from the door, and walked back. And as if it were actually an accident he fell, hand using the handle as a support like thing. Falling he turned the nob and the door opened. "Oo.. Ouch. That hurt. Clumsy me!" He laughed, getting up.
Phoebe hadn't realized what was going on until it happened. She covered her mouth and gasped only to see him okay. And that was when she realized what he 'didn't do'. Laughing she helped him off of the floor. As she did this, she looked into the room. It was GORGEOUS!

Lysander? An interesting name normally inferred an interesting person, and if he was anything like Josh, Lysander was the cute kind of interesting. Laughing at Josh's 'trip' Meggie helped him up, but almost dropped him when she noticed the beautiful room. She almost ran in but remembered there was an age limit and caught herself.
