firelight at dusk--------------------------------------------------- Naming DreamCrickle-crackle burn-burn-burn, the day is long and nightfall comes a Mother and Child are resting. In the waning light of day something calls, tickling ears so young and new they have yet learned the sound of fire eating. With unsteady limbs and bleary eyes, he wobbles away from Mother's warm side to gaze at embers dancing. Gleaming-glowing embers dance in the fading light, one lands softly on his nose and turns to ash darkness completely falling. Ember's bite burns flesh brightly, singed forever and scarred is he back to Mother for soothing. Colors dance along flank and scale heedless of damage done, Pure dark skirts the edge of fire's dance-floor, firelight beautifully singing. --------------------------------------------------- Personality: Thoughtful, bright and adventurous. He has no idea why he's so drawn to seek out the how's and why's of things, but he is. At least, he believes that he is - while he doesn't necessarily dislike the female half of the equation (he adores his twin sister, after all!), he is fairly certain that he prefers - strongly prefers - those of his own gender. Name: dances to destruction Arrival Date: 08.29.2010 Colorist: and be blue; CC custom butterfly Naming Dream: He dreams. Light pierces through clouds to illuminate the lush greenery. He leaps and spins, twists and bows to flowers and trees. As he moved across the meadow, the greenery wilts, browning and dying behind feet so light and elegant; the clouds began raining ash down, filtering the light stabbing through. His head tilts and he whirls as a dervish; destroying all behind and killing all before. He realizes what has happened, slowing for only a moment before regaining speed, even going faster. He was dancing to destruction. Personality: Danny is a very wicked sort, but not openly. He's outwardly elegant, gorgeous and kind...but under the outer layer of the onion, there is decay and destruction.  Name: Charred Haze Arrival Date: 11.21.2010 Colorist: and be blue; naming contest Naming Dream: -- Personality: Haze is a tempestous Kimeti with a flare for the outlandish. He puts on this 'mask' of hardness, of being so sharp and aloof that most don't bother with him. It's as though he has an aura about him that says: Don't touch me, it will hurt you. He does this so that he won't get hurt, won't trust anyone too much. Not because growing up was difficult or traumatic, but because Haze Kimeti lives richly inside his own head and prefers to keep all others at a distance. He tends to use a 'scorched earth' approach to life and tries his best to be entirely self-sufficent. This is because he wants to be a Kimeti his parents could be proud of...not only that, but one that outshone his siblings. In addition to all of that, Haze has a mind for puzzles and riddles to rival all others -- and he puts it to use often in keeping others away without really letting them know he's doing it. Plus, puzzles are fantastic in that they cannot hurt you!
