Seth had grown up in a tiny family consisting of an elder sister, Eliza, younger brother, Jacob, and his grandmother. His mother had left them for a lover in America and his father....had never been heard of since they day he got his mother pregnant with triplets. Of course, this resulted in his bitterness of the man, and even though he tried to get over it, the shadow of it still lingers. His sister went to America for work, sending back money every once in a while, and his brother soon followed. He stayed with his grandmother to take care of her, since she was very sick, even though she tried to hide it to make him feel less stressed, as he was both working and studying for college. He wanted to hurry and graduate so that he could help her. Unfortunately, she died a week before his graduation.
His siblings came back once they heard the news, and Seth got into a fight with Jacob, who blamed him from their grandmother's death. Eliza was the only one who understood, and tried to comfort him. She tried to persuade him to go with them to the Americas, where she had a steady job and could support the three of them, but he refused. Their once closely knit family fell apart, and he never heard from Jacob again. Eliza would contact him once in a while, but that was it. After his graduation, he became a psyhiatrist since he didn't want to become a health doctor anymore, not when he was afraid of not being able to save someone. He rose in reputation and skill, becoming one of their best doctors. A few weeks later, he was landed with the case of the child murderer. At first, he was skeptic. But once he was able to figure her out, it was slightly easier to talk to her. He grew an attachment to her because he knew that it wasn't her fault for being the way she was.

Kelsey was born into a family that was full of medical professionals. She was the youngest of her parent's two children and was also the only girl. Kelsey knew that she was going to be something in the medical field like the rest of her family. She was never one of the overly social children, but made magnificent grades, graduating in the top of her high school class and went into college, studying medicine like she always wanted to.
She was pretty much the perfect child I guess you could say. Kelsey passed all her classes with easy A's, but that doesn't mean she didn't stay the way she was. She dyed her hair blue and got a Monroe peircing on her sixteenth birthday. That year, Kelsey's brother was killed in a car crash. She was affected pretty badly by that, but managed to pass the year. After that incident, Kelsey became pretty shy and quiet. It's not something she wanted to happen it just did. After high school, she was in college and graduated in the top of her class there as well. She has been in this job since she got out of college and has been the doctor's assistant since she got there as well. Kelsey has had feelings for the doctor, but she hasn't admitted them to anyone, and plans to keep it that way. She is pretty jealous because of the patient and the doctor. Kelsey has never liked to get emotionaly involved with patients like the doctor has, but she can't decide what he chooses, it's not her fault if anything happens... Although, she would be sad if he got hurt in the process.
