you dont ahve to be "outside" the u.s to do different holidays most holidays are religious based and cultural or celebration of sucess and triumph nah scratch that alll holidays are based from that
i think what u wanted was to learn thignsa bout another culture's celebrations

I may not be "from outside of the united states" but I do celebrate Cherokee cultural holidays that are extremely different from most religious based holidays.

I'm from Philippines~ ^^ But I have lived in Canada and the U.S.
So far, the most different custom I've noticed is that in Philippines; we start "celebrating" Christmas in September. mrgreen
