I had been the daughter to a king, making me a princess, and I had been the middle daughter out of three. When my father chose me to take on the throne, since I wasn't fickle and power-hungry like my sisters, they became furious and did whatever they could to kill me. Finally, just before I was about to marry the prince of Spain, I was killed by an assassin's arrow through my heart; the day of my wedding. My fience happened to be a shinigami in disguise, knowing that I was going to die and when. As he was taking me to the afterlife, I pleaded for him to give me another chance. Of course, it's against the rules to bring the soul back to earth and allow them to live again, but he was allowed to make me into a shinigami.
I have been a shinigami ever since, guiding souls to the afterlife. A few years ago, I found a human boy that caught my attention. He reminded me of my past life and I was almost instantly in love with him. I knew when he was going to die, and so I assumed the form of a human girl and I fell in love with him. As punishment, I was thrown down to earth to trail after humans that are destined to die. Usually we don't trail them until their lives are almost up, because we are lazy things. I've seen some pretty whacked out stuff that you humans have come up with and it all just gives me one big headache. So each time the human that I had been trailing dies, I guide them to the afterlife and then move to a different town, the cycle repeats. However, this time is different. Estrella really didn't like this, So she charmed her way out of it. She was engaged several times before her father finally had enough of her games. Until she met Duke Ferdinand II of Aragon and it was love at first sight. He was very handsome and many women wanted him. Since was already betrothed to other and her father thought of her being in love this Ferdinand was just another trick of her.
Oh how she wished to feel his touch and his lips upon her but being a Lady and loyal to her father wishes. She just stared from afar until, one night when her father held a ball in her honor of her engaged. Estella got her change to dance the night away with her darling, Ferdinand. He pulled her toward the garden and admitted his love for her. Esa was the happiest girl alive. But sadly Ferdinand was just a part of a group to rebel the king....Estrella was to be used for ransom but sadly her parents didn't pay. So Estrella was killed and a great shinigami as going to taking Esa to the afterlife. She pleaded, and charmed her way with Him to give her another chance.
