It's always best to catch him in a good mood. He can be very loving unless you aggravate him. He has a low tolerance for slackers and delinquents. Don't piss him off and you might make it through the year. He's a bit eccentric at times and a bit of a show off. He knows when it's time to play and when it's time to be serious. He also has a mysterious side, the side of him everyone just wants to, attracting many to him.

Arcous' life started like any dragons' life in an egg. His mother was protective, so he hatched with her wrapped around him. A fierce white dragon with piercing blue eyes. Though his mother tried to control him, he was always off on his own, fending for himself. He was quick learner. He learned what he needed to just by watching the elders from a distance. He was able to concentrate his magic at a younger age than most dragons. He progressed quickly in his life and started traveling, learning of the other creatures and learning more of his own power. Arcous made many friends on his travels, having an attractive personality and his humanoid form wasn't half bad looking.

As he aged, so did the world. Things went from wild to buildings being built, not electric things being invented. Arcous, of course, adapted well. But.. The human raced advanced as well. They got scared of creatures like Arcous. Started wars with some of them and hunted others. Soon, all mythical races started depleting Arcous was able to hide amongst the human though most of his race was eradicated, leaving him to be one of few dragons left. Arcous knew this was no way for creatures such as him to live. He discovered this other realm. It was just woods and a few bodies of water. No inhabitants. He took it upon himself to create sort of a sanctuary for mythical creatures, to teach the young ones of their almost extinct races and hopefully have them replenish their kind. He built, by himself, a large castle he would use as for a school, boarding school. Thus the Academy of Mythical Creatures was born. Arcous hand picked fourteen students every year, since the races were small. He's been doing this for a few years now and every year is better than the last. He definitely loves his job. But always feels as something is missing.. Hmm..

Don't anger him and he won't hate you for the rest of the year.

Masahiro was the spawn of a mermaid and a demon. His mother happened to have wandered out the water and onto land. When mermaids dry, legs appear. Well she, being beautiful and having a lovely voice as mermaids are told to be, had attracted a demon. His father was prince of a dark nation and his mother was princess of the sea. The two met and his father was instantly attracted to his mother. Sadly, Masahiro's mother had to leave her people if she was going to be with this demon. Her father was a cruel man and very strict. She was actually already betrothed to another man. But she was in love with the demon and turned her back on her people. The two were married and had a son, Masahiro. But Masahiro wasn't the healthiest of babies. He had many health problems and the doctors gave the infant a month to live. This broke his mother's heart. But his father, being the demon he was, though this was unacceptable.

So, in the dead of night, the king took the young prince and dropped him off at the beach for the seagulls to eat. Masahiro cried and cried. Well more like wheezed. He attracted seagulls who picked his eyes out. Wasn't like he could see anyway. But now he was a poor little baby with no eyes, wheezing, crying, and alone. But he made it to morning. An old demon couple had found him. They were actually kindhearted people. They took the poor infant in. Though the whole no eyes things wasn't good. So the man got a rag and tied it over Masahiro's eyes. This made him look somewhat normal. Masahiro lived through the doctors' odds... The couple found out he was a demon when his horns started to grow. What a painful experience. The couple raised guy as their own, since his adopted mother couldn't have children. Neither the couple nor Masahiro knew he was a merman. Until that day. A few kids were picking on his and he was pushed into the pond. As far as Masahiro knew, he couldn't swim. So he thought he was going to drown and so did his adopted parents. But the boy popped his head out the water soon enough, feeling weird. His father pulled him out the murky water, revealing a black scaled fish's tail. As shocked as they were, his parents still accepted him.

Then, humans began to take over. Demons were forced to Hell. But what was Masahiro to do. He was not a full blood demon and he did not want to go to Hell. And later, he found out merpeople were completely eradicated. He stayed on the surface, hiding from the humans. One day, he received the letter to The Academy. How could he read it? That'll be mentioned later. Anyway, he attended the school. His specialty was potions. Well, he graduated from the academy. The headmaster saw potential in the demonic merman. Masahiro was asked to teach. He accepted and became head of the house he was selected for, Snake. Now he teaches the wonder of potions. Spending his days creating many of them and swimming in the great lake of the academy.

After growing up in her reclusive nymph colony, Delzi decided it was time to spread her wings. Literally. Using her powers to create a locket that could hold anything, she packed her belongings in it and turned into a blue jay; going off on her own. She was only about thirteen when she stumbled into the forest, lost and weak. The human world was so different from the spring she loved so much!!
But she quickly adapted and soon was fitting in just fine in a village on the eastern coast. She had a man she loved very very much and they were going to get married..But that all changed one day when it suddenly started pouring rain. Delzi accidentally turned nymph right in front of her friends and her lover. Although she was beautiful, her lover couldnt accept her; being a priests son and thinking her a demon.They called the village and they mobbed her, she barely escaped with her life.
Delzi found her way to the wild. But her heart would never be the same. One day in the mountains a hawk dropped something from overhead.; it was an invitation for an academy. Having no home, for the Nymphs and Nyrads had considered her dead the moment she stepped on land, she accepted and is arriving soon... .

They act like this most of the time She's always reading a book, always. She's very apathetic through the day, with very few random moments of joy from the little things she truly does enjoy. She has plenty of sarcasim and wit aswell if challenged, but normally doesn't make chit chat with others. She only prefers to talk if the subject is interesting and needs discussion, if her job requires her to (Which she does her job), or a few other rare circumstances. Other than that she'll give a simple gesture, or tell you that she isn't interested in talking and continue to read. The only time she has ever put her book down was for the Headmaster if he asked , or if matters were serious and dangerous. Some students are frightened of her, and rumors about her. The headmaster only is aware of the happy, innocent girl inside her. She can have random moments of silliness without the right expression in which gives her that sort of creepiness, or gloomy axe murderer feeling to others.

She used to be human, very long ago outside the realm. A curse was placed upon her and she turned into an uncontrollable beast. What curse it was, and who bestowed it upon her is unkown to anyone including her. She threw terror on the world for five years in a region, in which no matter how much damage she took it would only continue. A demon came to stop her, by freeing her mind and she was in control again. Many years passed , she wandered the earth for a place of peace and found it everynow and then, but lost it over and over. One day she found a husband , and he knew everything about her. She could never of been more happy either. She lived a happy life with a human for the longest. It was until she found the Headmaster, and she felt more luck was upon her. He studied her, watched her skills, and the knowledge she had and asked if she would like to come to a realm where it was safe and meet other creatures like her. She did so, telling her husband that she would return. After a tour of the school, teachers, and headmaster she was ready to return. The headmaster told her news though, of how the time of the realm passes differently from the other. She was told that being with a human is something she couldn't hope to do forever.

She knew her husband would die someday, and beleived she'll be ready for it when it happened. She wasnt' ready for it when she returned. Years have passed on earth, and she searched for her husband. She found his grave, and a few extras beside him. She had many questions that couldn't be answered, but reality hit her peace of mind once more. She returned to the realm and went on to teach students, and be with creatures like her. She hoped one day it would be for the best. She loathed the headmaster from years, but after losing battles with him, learning, and understanding how he sees it she knew deep down that he was right. From the begining she knew he was right, but she wanted to prove that it was wrong or find anyway to change it. She stopped changing it and now looks for a new means of happiness. She finds comfort in her books, and music she spends with daily.

Her room is her classroom. Well the classroom is her room. It's fairly large and has a pond that she built in it with half of headmaster's permission. She sleeps on the water, which rumors that she doesn't bathe and if she does she sleeps or bathes in her dirty pond water. She's one of the older teachers, but is immortal. She doesn't bother to dress nicely, put on make-up, or attempt to make herself beautiful therefore she doesn't come off as stunning to other males. She's pretty careless and lazy, but does her job. She's the most intelligent next to the school, atleast very close and matched with the headmaster and one of the very strongest. People have not seen her fight, and she doesn't start them. A rumor runs that she killed a student that attempted fight her, and she wasn't paying enough attention to her own power. She only shows her power in defense, or if her boss orders her to fight. She still can't beat the headmaster, but it's now come very close. She comes off as lazy, and slobbish, but she is indeed the most intelligent, and powerful. Sometimes frightening. Though she won't talk with you, she'll tends to stick to group people or with someone while she reads. She enjoys the company with the right people , just doesn't care for mindless chatter unless she's overly relaxed from liquids.

But she, in fact, is a soul who remembers and feels all of the same emotions that she felt in her life as a human. She likes to stand out and be heard. She hardly lets what others say affect her. Though, if someone’s words do touch her in a negative way, she refuses to show it. Her reputation for being graceful and logical is too important to her to allow her tears to be seen by anyone.

Arainette was once a human, this is how all Reapers are born. Yes, there is more than one Reaper in the world. She is still young though, so there are times when she allows her sensitivity to block her vision during a job. Arainette died young in her human life. At 27 she was young and successful as a scholar and an author. She spent most of her life studying death. Her death was tragic and it haunted her for almost two hundred years after she became a Reaper. She was attacked on simple journey, a routine task which she was to deliver her newest discoveries to the Lord she had been assigned to work for. Not two days into the journey, Arainette was attacked by rogues and bandits; they left her dying deep in the woods, too far for any traveler with common sense to wander in to and assist her.

After she had passed, her soul was immediately greeted by a Reaper. He had smiled at her and told her that she was well known within his race. He was going to offer her a chance, one that very few humans were ever given. He offered to extend her life on earth, though she wouldn’t be human. She would join him and the other Reaper’s to deliver the dead to their resting place. His reasoning, was that she understood death and its path more than any other human or being could fathom. Which is why the Reaper chose to turn her soul into a supernatural being, a Reaper like himself, because she understood death in ways that most humans and other beings could not fathom. At first, she had been reluctant, but in the end she agreed. Her whole life, however short it was, had been dedicated to death and the after, she felt as if this was her new purpose.

Then she received a letter from the headmaster, requesting her presence at the academy as a teacher. Who better to teach survival than a Reaper? After consulting the higher Reaper’s they allowed her to leave. It was odd though; Reaper’s never associated with other beings, except in death. She would be the first to ever move amongst the living as one of them.

While working as a teacher at the Academy, Arainette’s Reaping abilities are contained. The spider tattoo on her stomach nullifies her deathly touch so she is able to move about the students and faculty safely. Lu came from the great wolf packs of the mountains. She was not born to pack royalty, but she was born to caring loving parents. Though her race bestowed a hatred to her, she paid nothing of it. She played as children played, laughed as children laughed, and cried as injured children did. She seemed perfectly normal. Until the humans came.

It was an all out war between her people and the humans. Snow was dyed red many a night as the new beings closed in on her ever shrinking pack. Soon their main village was taken and she was imprisoned with her parents. But her parents were brave and they mounted a revolt. It was futile.

The humans shot most of their lupine prisoners before taking her parents and executing them in front of her, giving her a punishment of her own. They took a knife and slashed ragged marks across her right cheek, making three jagged cuts that looked like claw marks. Then they tied her to a sled and sent her down the mountain, crying in pain and bleeding over her clothes.

After the sled had crashed under an old pine, she managed to get free and wander around the harsh forests, learning to hunt, make fires and clothes, and be overall self-sufficient. She soon descended from the mountains, following the letter to the Academy. She excelled at her studies and soon became a teacher, and one that dealt with creatures to boot. Lu spends days with her creatures, and nights roaming the vast grounds in the moonlight.

They act like this most of the time Boris just loves to tease both students and the whole school staff. Though he often gets in trouble for it mainly with the other teachers. He's well known for being highly curious and being easily distracted, especially if it involves folklore and magics of all sorts. He's quite esthetic and very audacious. But, be warned, make him angry and he will turn from the most amiable teacher in the school to your worst nightmare. He hates to read but is a very good listener and would often write down notes on his hand or make his little friend remember them.

Unlike many other enchanters, Boris did not come from a family of powerful witches and wizards. At first, he was not full blooded wizard. You see, his mother was a mere gypsy girl and his father, an exiled enchanter. He stayed with his mother and little sister as they traveled in a group of circus performers. His mother was the fortuneteller and while she worked, he would roam around the circus with his sister, or feed the animals for extra money. He was protective of his sister and he would never leave her side but he was also quite the charmer among the girls. They would often play together as they travelled, making necklaces and garlands where he would be the knight and she would be the danzel in distress. They would visit their father every month on a full moon. Just before bedtime, his mother would chant a short rhyme and a portal would open. It lead them to a huge library under the clear starry sky, and there they would spend time with their father(and sometimes learn a few simple magic tricks as well). After some time, they learned how to open the portal and visited the enchanter more often. Life was great back then.

But all great things must come to an end. Witch-hunters and people who hate all things magic started to come out of hiding and influenced the world to rid of magic. And to them the best way to destroy the magic in people permanantly, was to burn them to ashes. Many were accused of being a witch, strange old women who kept cats or mumbled nonsense, or men who were always locking themselves up in their homes and finally the circus turned in his mother for money. The one they loved dearly was burnt, right in front of their eyes, on the day of his birthday. November 5th. A day he would never forget, the day he realised that he would hate for the rest of his life. Before she was taken away, she told them to go to their father, but they were only able to escape after she was burnt. Out of anger and revenge, he burnt the big top as they were having a performance. They were chased into the woods, and without any delay they stopped somewhere in the middle and chanted the words. The portal opened and he pushed his sister into it first then jumping into it right after she went in.

He assumed that his sister made it first but when he arrived, she was nowhere to be found nor was his father. A winged letter fluttered down, as he opened it a large burst of magic engulfed him. He read the message, from his father, stating that the old man could not continue without the one he loved and the person he knew as father also assumed that his sister would be with him when he opened this letter, turning them into a fully blooded wizard & witch. There was a small box with a total of nine matches and an anklet with nine hearts along with the letter with a note on them. "The cat has nine lives, so do you." He understood, his father gave up all his lives to create these for them. Since then, he searched for his sister and explored other linking worlds in hopes of finding her but failed.

Although he had given up and accepted the fact that she may have been gone forever all these years, he learned many about the linking worlds and their inhabitants. He took down notes, drew maps, learned of new spells and creatures many have not known about. Then one fine day, he received a letter, an invitation from an academy. To teach and share his knowledge sounded like a wonderful idea, so he accepted and has been teaching for some time now.

The blood coursing in their veins is Fallen Angel.
They act like this most of the time Lyle has always been a lover of the world, a big flirt, a constant smile in the world. Even after being banished, Lyle took it upon himself to earn his place back in Heaven, and avenge his Love's life. Refusing to let the dark events fill his heart. Lyle's a constant tease, and a jokester, though, knows when to stick serious, and get his job done.

Lyle's story is unlike most other Fallen Angels. He did not intend to defy God, nor, did he believe he had more power. He enjoyed his life as an angel, though... he cannot say with out letting a lie slip his lips, that he did not long for... Humanity. Lyle was a Guardian Angel, from a very young age, he was assigned a young girl, with out her knowing it, he grew up with her. Knew everything, what she loved, hated, enjoyed in love, her interests. In doing so, Lyle had done the forbidden for Angels. He'd fallen in love.

Lyle knew there was nothing he could do to cease this love, when an Angel loves, it's pure, and everlasting, but for Lyle... short lived. As well as their are Angels, there are demons, and Vampires. One young Vampire, had lured Lyle's lady love, and her friend to a grave yard... With out thinking, Lyle interfered with the course of Nature, and saved his love, in doing so... Lyle was banished.

Ripped away from all his golden light, and left pale, and vile. His hair, and eyes, pale as the snow. Just as his wings once had been, though the only reminder of the once glorious wings, were two black scars down Lyle's back. After this horrid event, Lyle took it upon himself to save the world's creature from such dark fates, protecting, and loving the world for the pure things inside it.

JZ was born to two wonderful parents. She had a "normal" childhood. Or about as normal as one can be when your only about a foot in height. Of course she had magic and could change her height, but she didn't learn that until much later so her normal was that of any other farie. But she had always wanted more than what she had. She longed to be human. The one thing that was dangerous and out of control. JZ was attracted to chaos. She didn't just create it, she thrived on those who did. She was rather dishonest and disrespectful to those around her so the Faries of her childhood sent her away.

She was a bit lonely until she realized that she could change her size at will. That day she became human and learned to despise them as well. She met another human just outside of the woods she had grown up in her whole life. The man didn't say much so she tried to start converstaion. That's when things went from bad to worse. The man, unknown to JZ, was drunk out of his mind and attacked the poor farie. To get away she shrunk back down to her normal size and quickly flew away. In that moment she turned her back on humanity all together.

The next few weeks were harsh for little JZ. She had no home to return to and she was afraid of the humans. She knew nothing of the burnings of her forests and other forests that held her kin. Luckily the humans never made it to her hiding place. Soon enough she recieved a letter from The Academy. With no place else to go, she accepted and went. There she learned many magic tricks. Haru's father was once an Angel of Heaven, but he was casted from the skies when he learned of hatred. In dismay this fallen angel was torn apart and re created as a demon. Being let out to the world, he managed to find love in a young mind reading whom they had an only child. When Haru was born, she had always been Daddy's little girl, though she loved her mother, her attachment to her father proved that she loved him more. Though her father was often gone, doing business for other demons and such things of that nature. Sometimes years would pass and Haru wouldn't see any sight or message from her father.

She became accustomed to this and got over the fact that her father's job(though she had no idea what it was) was very important and forced them apart. Though it was rare to see her father, there was one day that he never seemed to forget. This day was on her birthday, though some times he wouldn't send anything and this would often make her clouded about her father's love. But that all ended on her eighth birthday. The day was normal at first, she had woken up early to her normal room, which was toward the back of her house, pretty large in size with it's own bathroom. But there was something different, to her confusion there was a black stuff bunny sitting on a chair in front of the bed. Around it's neck was a letter sent to the girl from her father. Opening it, she found that the Bunny's name was 'Syler' and it was to protect her from any fears she may have. Haru was a skeptical child and though she loved the bunny she soon forgot about it, leaving it on her bed and merely placed it back on the chair at night.

When Haru was nine years old she had began to realize how cruel people could be. Often being bullied before she paid no attention to the boys and girls of her school, until the girls dragged her to the bathroom and cut off all her hair. Her once beautiful long flowing hair was now a matted mess of torture. Running home the girl hide in her room, wanting to fix her hair before her mother returned from work. But as the girl looked in the mirror at the mess before her she began to bawl, cry and cry. Suddenly she heard a loud shout telling her to quiet, when she saw no one in the room she assumed it was her own mind playing tricks. As she continued to cry, she heard another shut up, when she questioned aloud about the voice she discovered it was the bunny on her bed. Stopping her tears the bunny asked her why she looked so ugly, Haru's response was the people from school. The bunny only sighed and told the girl Haru to leave. When the night came she found Syler already sitting on his chair, a tear on his face the cotton from his body covered in blood. When Haru returned to school she was told that the girls that bullied her would not be returning to school.

Years went by and Syler helped uncover Haru's confusion over her powers and what she exactly was. When he taught her how to properly use her powers, Haru no longer depended on Syler to protect her from the bullies that always seemed to assault her. But soon her powers went out of hand and instead of scaring off the bullies she started hurting them with her powers. After breaking a students arm Haru's mother pulled her out of school and put her in home school. It wasn't long after that, that she received a letter saying she was accepted into the school.

This teenage kitsune is one of mystery,in that her pride and confidence is a farse. She doubts herself so much that she puts the front on of being happy. Tiko is actually a self harmer....

Tiko was brought up with alot of other kitsunes,so she is the image of a perfect specimen. The thing is, it's not always the image that counts. Inside, and sometimes on the outside, Tiko hurts. She takes alot of damage on the chin, only for it to sink in later. She takes to cutting her arms and wrists, and covers it by wearing sweaters and sometimes arm warmers. She is sure no-one suspects a thing.

This all stems from a particularly bad incident when she was 15. She transferred to a british school, and was the only kitsune there. She took to wearing a tiny mask on her necklace, which had the capability of sealing away her kitsune features (fox ears and tail) until she was dragged into a fight. The chain broke and the mask fell to the floor - revealing the Kitsune in all her glory. Despite being pretty, she was embarressed, and immedialty took to her 9 tailed fox form to dash off.

After recieving the invite, Tiko has become more optimistic that she will fit in, and so still wears the mask sometimes, but more often reveals both her tailed and eared form and her fox form.

Despite having a fox form of her own, Tiko's love of all things animal has led to have a pet. A griffin that stands around the size of an average horse named Ghati. Ghati loves to play with a bright blue ball that Tiko bought for him. Ghati is very protective of Tiko, so stays in her room when possible. Tiko often rides Ghati, who has been highly trained and is very intelligent and proud.

That was what Nicole's father said to her the day before he died because of the cruel king the was ruling at that time; the king sentenced all those who practiced magic to be killed by the guillotine, Nicole and her mother escaped, but that day was the last she'd seen and heard of her father. On the day that they ran away, Nicole took her fathers armor thinking that this would be a good way of remembering him, but all it brought her were nightmares of the killing and executions of the cruel king that Nicole and her mother had once lived upon, but still she kept it, over the years she grew into the armor - well not really, but it fit her better than when she first took it. (For those who do not know who or what a dragon lord is, the series Merlin should help you, because Nicole is exactly like Merlin just a female version.)

For years they have been rummaging around places never staying for more than 3 days in fear that the king will come looking for them again. Until one day, when they stopped by the town of Uldred, Nicole and her mother went to go camp on the nearby lake; it was peaceful, quiet and beautiful it was as if they could stay there forever; in fact Nicole's mother even thought about living there, her worries of the king searching for them were slowly sneaking her thoughts; she told Nicole that her and her father wanted to stay in a place like this, where he could be the dragon lord that he is and so can Nicole, but of course, that never happened. After staying there on the third day, the sound of a raven sounded in the air, Nicole out on the shore of the lake watching the water and its ripples looked up at the sky, but saw no raven, instead, in its place a letter floating on the water; there Nicole retrieved it and opened the letter to find out that she was accepted to the Academy of Mythicals. Ever since, her mother has been kept safe and so has Nicole, but the only thing that Nicole now fears, is of what strength will her powers bring.

Rainelle Lin Sukiya was born in one of the last remaining, mermaid populated areas. It was a random spot, out in the middle of the largest ocean. She lived a peaceful life out in the ocean as Princess. Their underwater world was called Mottic. It was a very beautiful place, with lots of merpeople and open waters. Rainelle loved to explore the areas surrounding Mottic. It constantly got her in trouble, but she always went back. She didn't want to be locked up forever. She wanted to roam. Her wish, though, was never granted. It took her awhile to learn her place as Princess, to realize that she was needed there. So, she lived there for many, many years before she had to leave.

When she was about forty, her father, the King, told everyone terrible news. They had almost been discovered by humans for the tenth time that month, and it was time to leave. It was too risky to live there, and he was declaring immediate evacuation. Some people got angry, and others got frightened. While most tried to confront her father and convince him that he was wrong and they could stay, others swamred out, gathering things, and left. Raine's perfect world turned crumpled. Her parents were taken away by the guards, as was she. But somehow, in the midst of it all, she had been lost. When she woke, she found herself alone in the city. She waited a couple days, to see if anyone would return, but no one did. So she grabbed what she could, and left Mottic behind.

Years after leaving her home, she lived in the waters of a bay. She earned a name in the small sea-side town. They called her the Rippler. This was because many thought they saw the face of a girl, the end of a tail that didn't look quite right, or a strange pattern in the water. Almost everyone there had seen her, and countless photos had been taken, but she was never caught. One fateful day, she was relieved of her agony. That was the day she got her letter to the Academy. She greatfully accepted and is on her way to be a student there and to continue her life above water.

Alexander is known to be the flirt at his schools that he has come and went to. The gameball, skinty player, and wrestling flirt that everyone likes. To his schools he was and still is known as the Prince. To many he doesn't look like much with his small skinny frame, but somehow he always beats much larger guys in a fist fight. Much faster then any other guys at Shinty. Even jump higher and faster then pro-fighters.
He enjoys his life at school and even at home he is loved. His mother, a wonderful blonde beauty was always doing or giving him things that he never asks for. His father, a red head muscled male was always making him laugh and wrestle with him when he was down. However the thing his family did not know about him was, he used his abonormal strength to earn money in the streets by street fighting. He knows its dangerous but with his quick healing and fast reflexs that he was given since birth, gives him the corage to not be frightened.
Things changed however when 'it' came. The Letter. At first he thought it as a joke but as he read it over and over he finally decided to do as it said. Maybe, just maybe he could figure out exactly why he was immune to fire, or why he could move faster, jump higher, and take harder hits then any guy he knows.
