I used to like asian pop. Doesn't really do it for me anymore. Just like with singers of any other language I think the more obscure singers disinterested with being overly trendy are more worth it.

Ooh, an indie snob. I haven't met one of those in a while. xd *pokes Iakun* I kid, of course. I agree that a lot of commercial artists aren't as good as the undiscovered ones that try harder. But that doesn't mean they're all bad, or that the indie ones are all good.

I SWEAR I'm not an indie snob. I can't stand that overly quirked out indie crap either. I'm kind of in this middle area between the 2 lol
I'll just say it like this then. I like singers that have a lot of singing talent that requires more than just shouting. And lyrics that aren't all "smack mah b***h up" and stuff. lol
I'll admit I'm not familiar with korean music though. I'm more familiar with Japanese.

Iakun: LOL, I'm about the asian groups. Most of what I listen to, is japanese. (and now korean, LOL)
Purple: yeah, undiscovered ones can be just as good if not better in some ways.
Iakun: If you like japanese music. Then maybe you would like these korean bands. At least they don't sound like they're screeming to me.
