In 2029, a group of fallen angels came to Earth. For a long while, no one knew about them, but eventually, they revealed their true selves to society. The human beings, surprisingly, accepted the fallen angels, and they were integrated into society.
But after several years, the economy fell on extremely hard times. Most of the humans immediately blamed the fallen angels for this bad luck. Who else, they said, could have brought misfortune of this magnitude? The fallen angels were promptly killed. But while they were on Earth, they fell in love, and some even had children. The children were killed as well. And it was decided that all celestial beings were banned from coming to Earth. If they managed to somehow get here, they were all immediately killed. All of them, that is, but one.
This fallen angel fugitive is in trouble simply being on Earth as it is. But when he meets a human girl who won't leave him alone, he's just digging himself in deeper and deeper with every word he speaks to her... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Saraqiel (Sariel) Vivadscius Age: Over thousands of years old Personality: Sariel is a bit of a loner and no one can really know his true personality. He hides it so deep in himself that even he himself isn't sure about it anymore. In truth he's actually caring and loyal, but he's so afraid of getting hurt that he built walls around himself. Biography: Sariel hadn't meant to do anything wrong, but he had been a young and naive angel back then. He fell in love with a human girl, which was against the law, and he became a fallen angel. With nowhere to go, he had no choice but to come to Earth, even though he knew that there was death to all celestial, or fallen celestial, beings that stepped foot there. However, he couldn't return to heaven, and hell wasn't exactly a walk in the park, so he had no choice but to hide himself on Earth. There, he met a human girl by accident. But, not wishing to repeat his mistake of falling in love with a human, he acted cold and kept turning her away. But inside, he knows that the farther he tries to push her away, the closer she comes into his heart.... Appearance:Angel FormHuman formName: Astrid Tedrow Age: 16 Personality: Astrid is... a weirdo. There's no other way to describe it. She wears big, gaudy bows to school and she certainly has an extensive witty-talking-food t-shirt collection. She loves to read, draw, and write stories. She has a few close friends, and she has never had a boyfriend. Biography: Astrid's life isn't all that exciting. She is the unsocial daughter of two socialites. Astrid never really fits in anywhere in her family, so she mainly just stays up in her room whenever she's not working at her job at Dairy Queen. She just met the new boy, but no matter how hard she tried to befriend him, he simply pushes her away.

Sariel stumbled through the ruins of his 'home' quickly, avoiding being seen by a passing sentry, and clawed his way up the rubble to a secret, hidden room which was, thankfully, still intact. He hissed as he tugged up his white shirt to inspect the fresh wound slashed diagonally across his hip. Once again, he had narrowly survived another attack from those ungrateful humans. His kind had helped them, and for what? To be wiped out? He got out a first aid-kit and started to clean and bandage the cut, before pausing and glancing at the clock. It was nearly around the time where that human girl would come and visit him. He frowned. Why did she visit him? It was something he could never figure out. But even for all his icy words to her, he could never push her away. He didn't understand why he didn't want her to worry about his wounds. He used his teeth to rip the bandage and tuck it into place. Much better.

『Astrid Tedrow』 Astrid walked up to the big house on the end of the block. Once she walked inside, she could relax, but whenever she was out, she couldn't help but think about how different Earth was. Ever since the fallen angels had been blamed for the economic crash, soldiers patrolled the streets twenty-four-seven. But even though her parents blamed the angels, she never did. She didn't think it was right for celestial beings to be banned from Earth. We're supposed to help people in need, right? She rang the doorbell, waiting anxiously for Sariel to answer the door. ☆═━┈┈━═☆

Sariel flinched at the sound of the doorbell. That would be her. He quickly slipped to the front door, and opened it, grabbed Astrid's hand and pulling her inside quickly before closing the door with the same speed. "Foolish human..." He muttered. Was that fondness in his tone? He quickly forced it away. "I thought I told you this was too dangerous for you..."

『Astrid Tedrow』 "I know." Astrid replied as she invited herself in. She looked around at the house. It was impeccable, as always. It was almost like he didn't even live here. She walked into the kitchen and leaned against the counter. "But if I stay at home, then I have to listen to my parents blame the angels for everything..." Astrid wilted a little. ☆═━┈┈━═☆

Sariel was quiet. He couldn't blame her parents for blaming his kind. "So you come to one of the ones your family blames for their current misfortune." He sighed. He didn't know why he didn't just shove her away and leave her out there. This visit was unlike others. He spoke more, even though it would only attach himself to her and it would hurt the both of them. He turned from her. "Why do you come here, Astrid?" He asked quietly. It was the first time he had said her name, out of all the times she had visited. "I mean really. Why do you bother with something like me?"

『Astrid Tedrow』 "Because I'm your friend." Astrid smiled. She gave him a long hug. "You smell good today." she said as she pulled away. "But then again, you smell good everyday. Is it some weird angel thing?" Astrid was a very open person, and didn't realize how awkward it was when she told a boy that he smelled good. ☆═━┈┈━═☆

Sariel didn't return the hug. He was too stunned to. Friend? Now that was something he hadn't heard in a long time...He blushed a little at her words; a faint pale crimson that flashed across his cheeks. He turned away, trying to force the blush down. "H-how am I supposed to know?" He asked, trying to hide the fact that he just stuttered and his face was slightly more red than before. If he smelled good...then her scent was heavenly. Not that he would ever admit that out loud, of course. He couldn't keep letting her stray down his path. But once again, he couldn't help himself. "Have you eaten?" This was probably around the time humans had what they called their lunch.

『Astrid Tedrow』 "Huh? Oh, yeah, Mom made me eat a sandwich before I cam here." She replied. "She's still trying to make me stop being a vegetarian. She thinks it's weird." Astrid started looking through the cupboards. "But I'm still pretty hungry." She turned to Sariel. "Do you eat? I could make something for you, too." ☆═━┈┈━═☆

Sariel felt a smile tug at his lips, but stopped. "I..." He paused. "..guess so." He still couldn't quite grasp the human way of things, but he guessed the gnawing feeling in his stomach was from hunger. "If you can find anything to make..."

『Astrid Tedrow』 Astrid examined the cupboard more closely. "Let's see..." she said thoughtfully. "You have one pack of ramen in here and..." she moved to the freezer. "Three microwave mashed potato dinners. I'll make you one of those, and I'll have the ramen." She opened one of the dinners, put it in the microwave, and pressed some buttons. Then she filled a pot with some water, put it on the stove and then put in the noodles. "So, anything interesting happen lately?" Astrid asked. ☆═━┈┈━═☆

Sariel leaned back against the wall. "...No. Not really." He lied. He crossed his arms over his torso as he felt the blood from his earlier wound seep through his careful bandaging.

『Astrid Tedrow』 "Huh, really?" she said. "On my way here, this guard asked me if I had seen an angel, and of course I said no." Then he called this other guard over as I was walking away. They started talking about something, but I was too far away to hear. Then they ran past me yelling something about how 'He can't get away with an injury like that!'" Astrid was quiet for a second. Then, "God, I hate humans. I wish I was a fallen angel, like you." ☆═━┈┈━═☆

Sariel pursed his lips a little. "It could've been anyone else. I'm not the only fallen angel hidden in these areas." He pointed out. Then, his eyes hardened at her comment. "No you don't. You don't want this life." His tone was stern, bordering harsh, but he kept it in check. He lowered his eyes. 'Why would you want to be like me...? An angel fallen from grace...never allowed to go back...persecuted even here...the only place we believed to be a sanctuary anymore...' He hadn't noticed that his arm was no longer in front of his injury.

『Astrid Tedrow』 "No, I seriously do!" she said as she stirred the ramen. "Then I wouldn't have to feel guilty for hating my own race." The microwave dinged, and Astrid took out the tray and stirred the mashed potatoes. Then she turned back to Sariel. "Hey, there's something red on your shirt." She wet a washcloth with warm water, moved over to Sariel, and started scrubbing the spot. "...It's not coming out." she grumbled. ☆═━┈┈━═☆
