The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources. A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Crippled by a devastating EMP strike, the USA is powerless to resist the ever expanding occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic. Abandoned by her former allies, the United States is a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. A once-free people are now prisoners... or collaborators... or revolutionaries. Join the Resistance, stand united and fight for freedom against an overwhelming military force in Homefront's gripping single player campaign penned by John Milius (Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn). Stand alongside a cast of memorable characters as an emotional plot unfolds in this terrifyingly plausible near-future world. Experience visceral, cinematic first-person shooter action as you fight your way across Occupied USA using guerrilla tactics, and commandeer military vehicles and advanced drone technology to defeat the enemy. Looks a LOT better than MOH. MOH isn't even that fun at all, i get bored within half a round. with the amount of things you can drive/fly i would say if anything like, more like Bad Company 2... lol

thats not even close to bad company. bad company requires team work to win homefront is the kinda game were a team will win because of 1 person or have people running around very un-realistically

i'm not talking Strictly game-play technique, just what you CAN do in general.

Has anyone actually played HomeFront? 'Cos if you haven't, you can't really compare it to anything as you can't rely on previews alone.

Remember when they released previews of Mercenaries 2? I was so psyched for that game and its "Ground Breaking Multiplayer".

Just turned out to be another sub-par Sandbox game. And the multiplayer is nothing new. Infact, almost felt like they took a step backwards.. :/

So I'm not holding any hopes up for HomeFront. That, and its another " Oh Noes! America haz bween invwaded! Letsh gooo shave da daaeee! biggrin "

I agree with Samuel. Though I saw some robot cars that I wouldn't mind to get to control >.> but idk... Demo first lol.

It also reminds me of the PS2 game Freedom Fighters. Where Russia is the one who invades New York.

I'm also awaiting the demo, As far as what i posted i'm just saying it's LOOKING damn good, gameplay/actual game itself could suck-a**, but i hope not ;3.

and i don't mind " save the day" shooters, they can be fun from time to time.

Merc. 2 was super boring, it came free when i bought my first ps3, so i wasl ike " eh whatever".. played 3 missions, never played it again. Lol. xD
