Winter annoys me....

For many-many reasons. But, my current annoyance is the fact that my face is peeling away!! When the weather gets really cold (like it is tonight, -2 degrees Fahrenheit... ) my face gets all dry and starts peeling. It's so gross and annoying to have to apply lotion and lip balm every few minutes. ~_~;

I don't really HATE winter.
I tolerate it because I can.
I prefer the mid seasons like spring and fall.

What I hate is summer.
I was born in winter, so I like cold more then heat.

My skin doesn't peel in cold, but if I spend too much time in the sun, I get burned and then the burn starts peeling.
(I've never known anyones skin to peel THAT badly) O_O

I love the winter in the beginning but towards the end of it I'm hating it cause I'm usually don't with seeing snow and want to move on to color again. *laughs*

Yeah I'm with Dude I prefer Fall and Spring over the other two seasons. However, I hate summer the most though the only good thing it has going for it is pools or just swimming or water games in general. What I like to camp and play in the lake and fish...okay so Summer isn't that bad but I still hate it.

Yeah, like they say or I say whatever you can always put more layers on in winter to get warmer you can only take so much off in summer to cool off.

I'm sorry to hear about your dry skin problem. Have you ever tried boiling some water in your house to put some moisture in the air or maybe investing in a humidifier?

I can't swim, so water related things don't mean anything to me.
The only thing it means to me is that I can mow the lawn And get money.
Unfortunately I hate that too...
The mowing, not the money part ^^;

That's the opposite of what they say for job interviews ^.^ LOL
If you're already there, You can always dress down, you just can't dress up.
(but I agree with you) ^.^

Purple has a humidifier.
It works AWESOME !!!
But it uses ALOT of water >_>
(about 1.5 gallons per day it seems)

Snow is beautiful.
If you live in a less populated area. In my opinion. When I lived at my dad's house as a youngster, we lived in the country. When the snow fell all you would see is animal tracks. Now, living in the city ... when it snows ... you see people, car, animal tracks ...and the snow is all this nasty brown dirty slush. It's just disgusting. It makes me hate the snow.

I agree with you both. Spring & Fall are much more beautiful and calming seasons for me. ... Spring is my favorite season. heart Even though here Spring means tornado & storm season, I still love it. I hate thunder/lightening ...but I love the rain. And the scent of the air when it's getting ready to storm, like the few moments right before a tornado hits ....that's true beauty in nature.

I actually used to use a humidifier. It was very helpful for my asthma. Which is another peeve for me and winter, my asthma is much worse in the winter. I might try it again. <3

I do think spring is the best season. Even if it does aggravate my allergies.

You need to get a humidifier, Rini. 3nodding It's great. It saves my skin most of the time. Not to mention my sinuses and throat. Winter is brutal, no matter how pretty the snow is. I'd love to see a country snow. That sounds wonderful. whee

Well, I have a humidifier. I just stopped using it a few years ago because they doctor said it was actually bad for my asthma. He said something about the water sitting overnight and bacteria. I don't really remember, but I stopped using it and put it away. It would probably be best if I bought a new one, actually.

Yeeeeaaaahhhh, better get a new one. As long as you keep it clean, you shouldn't have any worries. The water gets cycled through during the day, and if you flush it out before refilling it, you should be good. It also helps to soak it once a week in white vinegar. I just learned that one. sweatdrop

Quite true. Vinegar is a very good cleaner. I always use it to clean my shower, sink, and toilet. It stinks, but ... it breaks up that nasty gunk.

Yeah, purple's humidifier looked discusting before the vinegar soak.

Now it looks almost clean.
Can never get EVERYTHING off, but at least now it's better then before.
