coldplay? are you serious?!! they've only ever produced the most mediochre drivel, it's bland, it's derivative, it's predictable...

...and muse, so they are all virtuoso musicians, and matt bellamy could be one of the most talented individuals of our age, and i saw them sat wembley stadium last year and their stage show kicked some serious butt...not to mention they are one of about 5 bands in the world who can even fill a stadium but their sound is soooooo 90's and they aren't getting any younger!

So far I've only heard 'Wake Up' courtesy of Where the Wild Things Are and I really liked it. If they have more tracks like that I'm on board with it.

I'm actually inclined to completely agree with you. Escpecally considering the Suburbs. Not only is the whole album fantastic and cohesive, they have the phenomenal way of conveying what's it like to grow up in 21st century America through sound.

Modern Man and Sprawl II and especially We Used to Wait, all of them have the fantastic notion of wanting and wanting to be rid of. Missing something you never had. The idea that this technology and progress and modernism is also alienating and unfulfilling. I could write a whole paper on it.

I personally love We Used to Wait, because I write letter to people - people abroad and next door - and the emotion of the song is perfect.

You're wrong.
If they were the best band of the century, a lot more people would have heard of them and given them more publicity and such. So this is your opinion (which is of course what you were going for I'm sure) but not the majority stance.
