Aiden has always been somewhat of a loner, raised as an only child by his mother, who up until just recently, was a single mother. This past summer, however she married McCain Edwards, a very successful business executive, who also happens to have a son, just a little older than Aiden. An attractive son, who is everything Aiden never knew he wanted. But Aiden is never noticed by his new stepbrother, is he?
Character Name:Aiden Age: 17 Sexuality: Gay (but not out yet) Hobbies/ Interests: Music, Reading, Psychology Aiden is a quiet, mousy boy who spends most of his time locked inside his room, either studying, composing music, or curled up with a good book. Character Name: Chris Edwards Age: 18 and a half Sexuality: Gay (furthest thing from open about it) Hobbies/ Interests: Chris is a silent guardian kind of guy who would rather stay to himself then be in a large group of people. What I want to be when I grow up: He doesn't know yet Picture:

Aiden
Aiden lay, curled up in bed, staring at the wall. It was a chilly Saturday morning, and the pouring rain was smashing itself against the windows of the house. It was perfect reading weather, but he knew he wouldn't be able to concentrate on the words. Chris and his father had moved over six months ago, but Aiden still wasn't used to it. He always felt that he needed to look his best whenever he even thought of leaving his room. He was so nervous about his stepbrother and still found himself wrestling with his feelings.Sometimes I feel like just screaming at myself.

Chris Edwards" Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth getting my heart broken everyday , but then I look into those beautiful eyes and I know that yes , it's totally worth it... " Chris sighed. What a crappy way to start a Saturday morning... He sighed again and got out of bed. He quickly changed into a black t-shirt and black jeans then headed out of his room. he stopped for a moment outside of his step-brothers room and glanced at the door. He had been here for almost six months and Aiden hardly ever spoke to him. Chris had to admit he felt sort of hated by his step-brother but then again, Aiden had every reason to hate him.
Chris sighed once more and kept walking, heading down the stairs and into the living room where his piano sat. This piano was Chris' pride and joy, it was the best friend he never had the time to have and the company no one else would provide to him. He took a seat at the bench and began to let his fingers fly across the keys in a soft, lullaby like tune.

Aiden
A soft tune, barely audible through the bedroom door, reached Aiden's ears. It was a sweet lullaby, and he felt compelled to find it's a source. He cracked open his door, still wrapped up in his black comforter, and shuffled his way down the hall. Chris looked to be lost in the music he produced. This wasn't the first time that Aiden had felt himself falling for his step brother. He jumped as he was hugged from behind. Mom. "There you are sweetheart! I was coming to say goodbye before work!" She kissed Aiden's forehead, leaving his cheeks bright red in embarrassment.Sometimes I feel like just screaming at myself.

" Chris stopped playing and looked up at his step-mothers voice and blushed a little when he realized Aiden had been watching him. He felt his heart flutter a little at the sight of his step-brother, thinking of how adorable the boy looked all wrapped up in his comforter and had felt a little touched that Aiden had been listening. He dutifully said goodbye to his step-mother and watched as she left before going back to his song again

Aiden
Aiden shuffled slightly closer and sat down, listening to Chris's beautiful music. He waited until there was a pause, and finally worked up the courage to ask "How long have you been playing?" ((OoC: my computer just died, so my posts may take a while. However I am visiting my parents for a while, so I'll be able to use my mom's laptop for the time being)) Sometimes I feel like just screaming at myself.

" Chris stopped playing and looked up at his step-brother. "Since I was seven." He responded, he looked down at the keys. "At first I thought it was stupid, playing piano. that it was something only sissys did... But, after awhile it grew on me and the more I played the more attached I got to playing. It became my stress relief or the way to express my feelings and the best friend I never had." He murmured, running his fingers lightly on the keys.

Aiden
"Soooo...H-how do you like it here?" Aiden asked tentatively. He wasn't quite sure what to say to his step brother, but he knew he had to say something, now that he was caught watching his brother. Aiden thought back to the million other times he had snuck into the room, listening to his step brother play the piano, and how he had never been caught before. Or the many times when he had stolen one of Chris's shirts, just to snuggle up with it at night, and feel like he was closer to his step brother than he actually was. Sometimes I feel like just screaming at myself.

"It's... different, I still dont know quiet what to think... I mean, after my mom died I spent some much time thinking it would always just be me and my dad that the thought of being in a differnent place and a different family scared me a little. But, everything is pretty good here, well sometimes a shirt of mine goes missing for long periods of time then it'll show up in some random place... Other then that I like here." Okay, Chris? He wasn't stupid. He knew exactly where that shirt had gone and exactly where to find it. He didn't care though, it eased him slightly to know he wasn't fully hated by his brother... Well... He hoped anyway.

Aiden Aiden blushed. Does he know it's me? "Yeah...Sometimes mine go missing too..." It was such a lie, but he knew what he did wasn't exactly considered 'normal.' "I'm sorry I haven't talked much. You must think I hate you. I don't hate you, I'm...just not a talkative person...Mom says I used to talk a lot when I was little...before my dad left. She says I just shut up after that..." He gave a nervous laugh and raised his arm to adjust the blanket. However, he was so nervous he accidentally dropped his comforter, revealing him in a black t-shirt, and his green plaid boxers. Aiden quickly tried to cover up.Sometimes I feel like just screaming at myself.

" Chris looked over at Aiden as his comforter fell and he immediately wished he hadn't. As soon as he saw the boy's body his face flushed and his heart fluttered in his chest and before his body could react before his mind could he quickly turned away to give his brother some privacy.((Sorry for not responding for so long, I've been busy and sick and I didn't have the chance to come online...))
